The songs are from upcoming albums due this summer. "Serpent Saints" is the title track from Entombed's new album set to hit stores July 31. The album closes a near four year gap; it following the special 2cd reissue of the band’s highly regarded Inferno album. The album presents the band continuing to expand their signature sound as they embrace ten brand new songs. With European dates already booked the band look to return to the US for the first time since 2004 in late fall/early winter 2008. Since their formation, giving rise to the classic “Swedish death metal” sound, the recently inducted Decibel Magazine’s “Hall of Fame” band have consistently up’ed the ante on each and every album, often adding unexpected curves along the way. June 24th, 2007	MEGADETH: 'United Abominations' Enters Norwegian Chart At No. 21 MEGADETH's latest album, "United Abominations", has entered the Norwegian chart at No. 21. As previously reported, the CD also debuted on the Italian chart at No. 24 and U.K. chart at No. 23, making it the band's highest-charting LP in the U.K. since 1994's "Youthanasia", which peaked at No. 6. MEGADETH's last album, "The System Has Failed", debuted at No. 60 on the U.K. chart. "United Abominations" also debuted at No. 23 on the official Australian ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) chart. According to Hits Daily Double, MEGADETH is on track to sell around 60,000 copies of its latest CD, "United Abominations", in the United States in its first week of release to land in the Top 10 (possibly Top 5) of the Billboard chart. This is more than the 46,000 first-week tally registered by its predecessor, "The System Has Failed" (which debuted at No. 18 on The Billboard 200 chart), and is in line with the 61,000 opening number of 2001's "The World Needs A Hero" (No. 16). OBITUARY FINALIZE ALBUM TITLE RETURN FROM SUCCESSFUL TOUR OF AUSTRALIA Philadephia: Obituary have confirmed Xecutioner's Return as the title for their forthcoming album. The album's release date has been pushed forward to August 28 from the earlier announced September 11 date. The band are finalizing US touring plans now that will kick off in early September. Vocalist John Tardy comments about the band's recent trip to Australia, "it took us over 20 years to get to Australia, but we finally made it and had a great time.
