- HAMMERFALL Announces First-Ever Concert In Russia
Swedish melodic metallers HAMMERFALL have announced their first-ever
appearance in Russia: On September 7, the band and its fans will rock
Club Tochka in Moscow.
HAMMERFALL has set "Steel Meets Steel - Ten Years of Glory"
as the title of its upcoming "best-of" collection, due on
October 12 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD will include around 25
classic HAMMERFALL tracks along with three new songs which were recently
recorded at Mi Sueno studios in Tenerife, Spain: "Last Man Standing",
"Restless Soul" and "HammerFall v1.07".
Commented the band: "We're celebrating our ten-year anniversary
as a record-releasing band in 2007, remember? We spent seven weeks or
so here five years ago, recording 'Crimson Thunder', and a fortnight
for the mix of 'Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken', so it was a great
pleasure to once again walk into the arms and home of the Deris [Andi
Deris; HELLOWEEN vocalist] family."

- YAKUZA Transmutations reveals artwork, new music
Chicago's genre-bending YAKUZA has posted artwork for the band's forthcoming
record, Transmutations, online here,
where pre-orders for the record are also available. Prosthetic Records
has also posted a brand new Yakuza track online;
entitled "Egocide," the track will appear on Transmutations,
which will see an August 7 release through Prosthetic Records. Prior
to that, YAKUZA will host a listening party for Transmutations July
31 at the Liar's Club in Chicago.
"Exploration, experimentation, riding the line between the familiar
and the foreign; the essential elements for YAKUZA have already been
established,” frontman Bruce Lamont says about the band's sound.
“We are not interested in creating music that’s easily definable.
Our roots are firmly planted in metal - yes, but like life, the sounds
here are not cut and dry. At times this record can be uplifting, cruel,
celebratory and just downright fuckin’ mean."
Utilizing producer and established multi-instrumentalist Sanford Parker
(Rwake, Pelican, Minsk) for the recording of Transmutations, YAKUZA
couldn’t be happier with the album’s end sound: “Sanford
was great to work with,” Lamont says. “We really feel he
has refined his craft over the past half a dozen recordings he's done.
He’s known the band for a long time and helped with our last release,
so he is already aware of our studio tendencies. With him the process
felt almost effortless.”
YAKUZA began demoing new material on February 28 at Semifour Studios
in the band's hometown. 'Transmutations' was produced by Sanford Parker
(Pelican, Minsk, Rwake), who made a guest appearance on the band's last
release, 'Samsara'.

Neves, from the death metal band ENDRAH.
Alex comments: "Since our original vocalist left the band in the
second half of 2006 we made some auditions for the position without
having a satisfactory result, so, due to the request of the other members
I accepted this experience, which is something totally new for me, but
our objective is still to find a vocalist."
OF THE ARCHAENGEL is formed by the members of the defunct band Lethal
Curse, which was formed in 1992. Samples of the band's work is available

- AVENGED SEVENFOLD: Dates In Indonesia, Singapore Announced
AVENGED SEVENFOLD has announced the following dates:
Aug. 07 - Tennis Indoor Arena - Jakarta
Aug. 09 - Fort Canning - Singapore
Aug. 11 - Maeshima - Osaka City, Osaka
Aug. 12 - Marine Stadium - Tokyo, Tokyo
AVENGED SEVENFOLD will release its long-awaited new DVD, "All Excess",
on July 17 via Warner Bros. The project is expected to feature live
clips of the tracks "Walk" (PANTERA cover), "Beast and
the Harlot", "Trashed and Scattered", "Seize the
Day" and "Bat Country", plus videos for the latter tune,
"Beast and the Harlot", "Seize the Day" and "Unholy
Confessions". A documentary, three "making of the video"
features and a pull-out poster round out the "All Excess"
package.
AVENGED SEVENFOLD frontman M. Shadows commented: "This DVD has
been eight years in the making. We didn't want to cheat the fans by
putting out a standard live DVD. Instead we wanted to focus on giving
back to our fans by showing them what makes five best friends from Huntington
Beach eat, sleep and breathe the AVENGED SEVENFOLD lifestyle. This DVD
shows everything from life backstage on the bus to some of the first
shows in our hometown. We didn't leave anything off that fans have been
asking about for all these years. Unlike cookie-cutter concert DVDs
this is a documentary you can watch again and again for years to come."
AVENGED SEVENFOLD has been keeping a low profile while working on its
new album, and M. Shadows told Launch that the band is not concerned
about what kind of response its next effort will get. "We have
a really good, you know, recipe for success for us, and that's just
to be best friends and write the music that we wanna write, and then
at that point, you know, it's up to everyone else to decide how big
AVENGED SEVENFOLD's gonna be," he said. "Like, we just do
our thing, we tour, we love being on the road with each other, we love
seeing different parts of the world and to us, it's just all about going
out there and playing live music, and, you know, writing records every
year. We just wanna keep doing what we do."
AVENGED SEVENFOLD is tentatively planning to release its next record
in October.
The new CD will follow up 2005's gold-selling "City of Evil".

the Denmark's Antfarm Studios with Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, DARK TRANQUILLITY,
ROB HALFORD) co-producing with the band. This release will consist of
re-recordings of the band's legendary "Under the Moonspell"
(1994) but also going back as far as their first demo "Anno Satan"
and their sole track as MORBID GOD, "Serpent Angel". All the
songs will be re-arranged and revamped in order to "underline their
revered distinction as underground classics but now with a mature dark
energy and class," according to a press release. "The full-length
record (eight songs and around five instrumental compositions) will
be released in early October via SPV worldwide.

- THE VISION BLEAK have finished recording "The Wolves Go Hunt
Their Prey"
After nearly six months in the studio, THE VISION BLEAK have just finished
recording their third album, "The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey."
"The album contains nine songs which are definitely among the heaviest
and at the same time the most atmospheric and most stringent pieces
of music THE VISION BLEAK has ever released," says Ulf Theodor
Schwadorf about the follow-up to 2005's very successful album "Carpathia".
"The Metal part - read: the guitar riffs - of THE VISION BLEAK's
sound certainly has made it more into the foreground on 'The Wolves
Go Hunt Their Prey', but still there are bombastic orchestral sections,
acoustic guitars, sitars and lots of atmospheric details featured in
all songs."
The band isn't promising too much here, as the song 'By Our Brotherhood
With Seth' will prove: http://seth.prophecyproductions.de/
The track list of "The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey":

T-shirt and a free THE VISION BLEAK patch.
- S.O.D. TO RELEASE “Rise Of The Infidels"
West Palm Beach FL, June 21, 2007 -- Megaforce Records and metal/hardcore
pioneers S.O.D. will release Rise Of The Infidels, on August 21, 2007.
It is an extended EP (perhaps the longest in the music biz) with four
unreleased S.O.D. songs, plus a live concert from Seattle is included.
One of the crucial bands in the musical chain linking hardcore punk
with metal, the Stormtroopers of Death - known as S.O.D. – were
actually intended to be a one-off side project, done as a lark.
S.O.D. began in the mid-1980's during a break in the recording of Anthrax's
Spreading The Disease. What started out as a quick, satirical release
for Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, Dan Lilker, and the infamous Billy Milano,
S.O.D. has turned into a seminal band influencing countless hardcore,
metalcore, and post-hardcore bands. Their first album, Speak English
Or Die, has sold over 400,000 and remains an underground classic. S.O.D.
was always about brutal satire, but done with complete honesty. Anyone
who has witnessed their severe, yet astonishing live show, knows that
S.O.D. is like no other band on the planet.
Track Listing:
1. Stand Up And Fight
2. Java Amigo
3. United And Strong
4. Ready To Fight
Live At The Fenix
5. Ballad Of Nirvana/March Of The S.O.D.
6. Sgt D And The S.O.D.

- FALL OF EDEN ANNOUNCES U.S. TOUR DATES, RELEASE "DAWN OF A NEW
AGE" CD
CHICAGO, IL - Death Metal newcomers Fall Of Eden will launch into Midwest
and East Coast tour dates in July to promote the release of their new
full-length, "Dawn Of A New Age."

far beyond the perceived limits of the band's collective youth, Fall
Of Eden has progressed musically by leaps and bounds since their debut/demo

that point clear to all who attend.
Fall Of Eden offers complexity in their melodies, heaviness in their

with the positivity and energetic lust for life that metal bands generally
leave up to the punks.

- Lifeforce Records America is proud to announce the addition of Ohio's
HARLOTS to their roster!
With an uncompromisingly honest attitude, the influence of real life,
and a sound that could be called their own, HARLOTS form together almost
every kind of extreme music then shatter it to pieces with an ambient
and progressive wall of sound. Forming in Ohio during the winter of
2002 and 2003, the band has survived by original members Jeff Lohrber
and Eric Dunn, alongside Joshua Dillon and Christian Fillippo. Harlots
has released two full length records, "The Woman You Saw is the
Great City that Rules Over the Kings of the Earth" (Feeling Faint
Productions, 2004) and "This is the Second Death" (Corrosive
Recordings, 2006) which will be followed up in 2007 with a digital EP
"The Human War Machine" (Corrosive Recordings, 2007.) HARLOTS
has survived through 200+ shows all over the United States. 2007 has
brought the band to its third and most diverse full length yet and Lifeforce
Records America Debut, "Betrayer."
Jeff Lohrber of Harlots speaks about the signing:
"After almost 5 years, 2 full lengths, 1 EP, 200+ DIY shows in
almost 30 states, a shitload of bad luck, and all of us finally being
of age, we feel we have finally crafted a record that we are 100% proud
of and will have the ability to make more. Many thanks to Lifeforce
and all of our friends who helped out and made this shit happen. See
you guys and gals on tour."
HARLOTS' Lifeforce Records American debut "Betrayer" will
see a late fall release. Co-produced by the band and Joel Lauver at
Burning Bridge Recordings (Job For A Cowboy, Still Remains, Demiricous
and Destroyer Destroyer), "Betrayer" encompasses an amazing
grasp on metal and hardcore to create an amazingly creative and experimental
musical outing.

Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice return for the second U.S.leg of the

with more dates to be announced soon. There will also be a special fan
presale for the first dates beginning Wednesday, June 20 at 12 Noon
EDT at http://heavenandhell.frontgatetickets.com.
Last year, the iconic quartet reconvened to record a trio of songs for
Black Sabbath: The Dio Years, a compilation that features essential
songs by the short-lived, but beloved incarnation of Black Sabbath fronted
by Dio. Dubbing the group Heaven And Hell after one of its signature
hits, the band launched a much-anticipated world tour earlier this year.
The group celebrated its first U.S. concert in 15 years with a sold-out
performance at Radio City Music Hall. Recorded and filmed in its entirety,
Rhino captured the historic concert for a CD and DVD release, Heaven
and Hell Live From Radio City Music Hall, set for an August 28 release.
Alice Cooper and Queensrÿche will join Heaven And Hell on the road
this fall creating one of the year's hardest-hitting triple bills. In
addition to his duties as a rock 'n' roll icon, Cooper is the host of

- SLOUGH FEG “Hardworlder” release: Full album preview available
It’s here! The fans have waited more or less patiently for this
new SLOUGH FEG release, expectations grew day by day and it looked like
it was never to be released… Now after having spent over 6 months
in the studio, SLOUGH FEG are ready to release what it’s going
to be a serious candidate to their “best album ever” award,
“Hardworlder”!
It was November 2005 and on a German train Mike Scalzi told us that
the “next” would have been a 70s-guitar inspired album:
as a matter of fact, in 2007 with the help of “Don” Angelo
Tringali the band has produced SLOUGH FEG’s most guitar-driven
album! New drummer Antoine Reuben-Diavola together with the precise
bass-playing of Adrian Maestas supplies the heaviness needed and song
after song the album flows on a thin but always-present sci-fi background,
providing cold shivers of pleasure as each song touches the depth of
any Hard Rock / Heavy Metal lover. Two wonderful covers such as “Dearg
Doom” (Horslips) and “Street Jammer” (MANILLAROAD)
make this album something that can't be missed.
It’s really the time to say it again… BUY OR DIE!
Cover by James Lyle, release-date 14/07/2007
Line up: Michael Scalzi - Vocals/Lead guitar , “Don" Angelo
Tringali - lead guitar, Adrian Maestas - bass guitar , Antoine Reuben-Diavola
– drums.
* “Hardworlder” is proud part of the “Try Before Buy”
CRUZ DEL SUR campaign. It can be heard fully online @ www.cruzdelsurmusic.com/hw/prev_hardworlder.htm.

- ALL THAT REMAINS’ “THE FALL OF IDEALS” RISES: ALBUM
BREAKS 100,000 IN SALES; LIVE DVD SET FOR OCTOBER RELEASE
Prosthetic Records recording artists ALL THAT REMAINS have reached a
major sales milestone – their third album The Fall of Ideals has
surpassed the 100,000 mark in sales.
“Just shy of a year ago we put out a record called The Fall Of
Ideals and ever since that first week we have been amazed at the reaction
people have had,” ALL THAT REMAINS frontman Phil Labonte says.
“This week we hit a milestone in ATR's career with 100,000 copies
sold! We have been working towards this goal for a long time. I think
Hatebreed was the first band that I was actually friends with that broke
that number with 'Satisfaction...'. I remember thinking how huge it
seemed and it still seems enormous, especially in today’s musical
climate. Thank you to everyone who picked up the disc, who told their
friends, who sent us love on MySpace, who posts on our message board,
who started fan sites, and everyone who came out to shows to hang out
and support ATR. We are gonna hit a few new places this year and lots
of places we've been before. So come out, say what's up, and get into
it!”
Released last July, The Fall of Ideals garnered ALL THAT REMAINS serious
praise from the press. Metal bible Kerrang said the album, “bears
all the hallmarks of a classic…the musicianship is stunning…ruthlessly
precise and powerful”, while the band’s hometown paper,
Springfield, Mass.’ The Republican, referred to the album as “potent…a
wild ride, one that’s metal to the core without abandoning musical
virtuosity and a keen sense of melody.”
Since ALL THAT REMAINS’ first album was released in 2002, the
band has grown in leaps and bounds in every arena. They’ve gone
from playing opening slots to headlining and selling out their very
own tour this year and playing major rock festivals domestically and
abroad - Ozzfest, Sounds of the Underground, Wacken: Open Air. The first
single from The Fall of Ideals, “This Calling” could be
heard all over the country on hard rock stations and the corresponding
video could be seen on MTV and Fuse. The song also appeared in the major
motion picture, “Saw 3.” “Six,” another track
from the album is featured in the hit video game, “Guitar Hero
2.” ALL THAT REMAINS’ presence on MySpace.com has increased
significantly – their number of friends has more than quadrupled
in the past year alone.
ALL THAT REMAINS will soon experience another first: the release of
a live concert DVD in October. The DVD will feature live performances
from the band’s recent show at Theater of the Living Arts in Philadelphia,
as well as from their upcoming show in Baltimore at The Recher Theatre
on July 12. ATR fans will also be treated to tons of bonus goodies on
the new DVD, including behind the scenes footage, band and fan interviews,
a live photo slideshow and all of the band’s videos.
In other ALL THAT REMAINS news, July will find the hard-working band
filming a video for the third single from The Fall of Ideals, “Not
Alone”, in between tour dates. Director Soren will handle the
shoot, having already produced videos for Unearth and Light This City.
After a handful of domestic tour dates (including a special appearance
on the Sounds of the Underground tour), the band heads to Mexico and
then Europe through August, where they will pay several major festivals
including the Wacken: Open Air Festival in Germany.
Fan pages on MySpace from across the world have started sprouting on
the social networking site, including sites from Japan,
Germany,
Mexico,
and the United
States.

- CANNAE hard at work writing fourth record, seek drummer
Boston thrashers CANNAE are currently hard at work on the band's fourth
album, the follow-up to 2005's Gold Becomes Sacrifice. The band is currently
looking for a full-time, permanent drummer. Interested parties should
be able to play through the entirety of Gold Becomes Sacrifice and be
willing and have the means to tour. Shane, CANNAE's bassist, can be
reached directly at cannaedrums@gmail.com.
Taking a heavier and more thrash-oriented approach on Gold Becomes Sacrifice,

- TAPPING THE VEIN in Mixing Mode!
World Management would like to announce that the Tapping The Vein will
be mixing their upcoming release, for Nuclear Blast, with Neil Kernon,
at RaxTrax in Chicago, IL starting July 14th 2007. "We're very
excited to be working with Neil on this. Time and time again, on tour,
we were told we sound much better live. I'd have to agree the band is
heavier and more powerful live. I think we were able to capture that
this time around with Neil,” says drummer Eric Fisher. “TTV
took a new approach to the writing of this album and I am really pleased
with the result. I think we've managed to streamline and ‘pump
it up,’ so to speak, without sacrificing any of the emotional
impact that we insist on," added vocalist Heather Thompson.
Look for a 4th quarter 2007 release worldwide. The band and management
are currently looking for touring and packaging ideas for late in the
year and early 2008. Please contact worldentertainment@comcast.net
with any ideas.
- Matt Mc Chesney is not leaving HELL WITHIN!
To set the record straight Matt Mc Chesney is not leaving HELL WITHIN.
Matt is helping THE AUTUMN OFFERING (Victory Records) out in a bad situation.
He is only recording an album for the THE AUTUMN OFFERING. They have
no singer and they need to get a record done. It was wrong of the band
to post "formerly of Hell Within"; he is not formerly of HELL
WITHIN, Matt is in HELL WITHIN. HELL WITHIN is Matt's main band and
THE AUTUMN OFFERING is a side project.
HELL WITHIN will be touring with Matt on an East Coast run that is shaping
up for August in support of their new record "Shadows Of Vanity".
HELL WITHIN is not looking for another vocalist. HELL WITHIN with Matt
as the lead man will see you soon.

- SOULIDIUM RELEASE CHILDREN OF CHAOS
JUNE 19 ON KNIGHTVISION/ADRENALINE MUSIC
Under the glamorized night life that Miami is known for, exists another
underground and dark world. Melodically flowing with next level songwriting,
this creative rock coven infuses cool visuals and dark elements that
are making fans flock to their unique sound and image appeal. SOULIDIUM
embodies not just a band, but a whole new movement of rock. The dark
overtones, eccentric rock videos, gothic art, and strong presence that
SOULIDIUM brings make for an addicting strong new combination.
SOULIDIUM, led by Singer/Songwriter/Producer, Michael McKnight and with
the aid of a popular social networking site, found guitarist AJ Maldonado
and Eric Beausoleil. Drummer Danny Cayocca, a star drum line instructor
relocated from Springfield, Mo, and guitarist Jake Jaden, who jumped
at the challenge of switching his instrument in only one week, exceeded
all of the band's expectations.
CHILDREN OF CHAOS, produced by Danny Bernini (Blondie, Notorious B.I.G.,
P. Diddy), Michael McKnight and Bonnie Milner (Vocal Production) will
be in-stores on June 19 on McKnight's ADA distributed imprint KnightVision
via Adrenaline Music Group.
SOULIDIUM's strengths come from their diverse approach to their music.
Songs like the first single "The Light", speaks of being rescued
from the darkness of loneliness. "Live Forever" is about breaking
through to a new plane of existence. "Waiting" deals with
the human emotion, and common struggle that we all share and with orchestral
strings by GRAMMY® Award winning arranger Jeff Bova, the ever powerful
"About You", make it evident that SOULIDIUM is, indeed, a
band on its way to "The Big Time."

cravings of fans in a whole new way. Incorporating an intimate visual
experience both on their website and through their powerful live shows,

- ALL THAT REMAINS frontman discusses latest album from Canada
Massachusetts' ALL THAT REMAINS recently wrapped up the band's brief
stint in Canada with Protest The Hero, where frontman Phil Labonte sat
down with Pure Grain Audio.com to discuss the band's latest record,
'The Fall of Ideals,' as well as the singer's musical background, writing
styles and more. Here are a few excerpts:
Tell us a little bit about this new record and the progression from
This Darkened Heart to The Fall of Ideals.
Phil: When you listen to this record and the last record, you can hear
similarities, but it definitely doesn’t sound like we’re
just putting out the last record again. I think any artist strives to
make music that doesn’t sound like anything else. I’m not
saying that we don’t want to have people say, “Well this
part reminds me of this,” because I think it’s cool and
influences come from everywhere. With this record there is a lot of
inspiration but it’s not from your typical sources, because we
all listen to a lot of different styles of music. I listen to country
music and a lot of garbage pop. I’m not a James Hetfield and want
to go ahead and turn our band into a country band and our new album
definitely isn’t country, but it’s just there’s a
lot of good music out there. That stuff just fits right in.
So you were the headbanger in high school with long hair and a Suffocation
t-shirt?
Phil: I did have long hair and I did own more than 1 Suffocation t-shirt.
[laughs] In fact when I met Frank Mullen from Suffocation I got a little
bit fan boyish. I’ll see him at shows and stuff and he’ll
say, “Hey what’s going on?” and I’ll get like
“Awww shucks...” I’m a big fan of his and think that
he’s a phenomenal death metal vocalist.
You wrote the majority of material on This Darkened Heart yourself.
Has the writing process changed any with this release?
Phil: A lot of this record was written by Olie, who probably wrote about
70% of this record. Then he would bring it to us and we’d work
the rest of it as a band. It was very much a collaboration when it came
to putting everything together. We’d put the songs into a computer
and them move them around and chop them up a bit. With this record while
we were writing, we had a lot of things happen on the business side
where we went and got new management. That’s the stuff that I’ve
always had a hand in and on the last record, even though I wrote the
majority of the material, but it was still a collaboration. This time
it wasn’t that I was relinquishing control, but it was just that
I didn’t have as much time to write. A lot of the stuff that was
written had been written months previous over the course of touring
behind This Darkened Heart.

the band's hometown July 31 at The Liar's Club, details will be confirmed
shortly.
"Exploration, experimentation, riding the line between the familiar
and the foreign; the essential elements for YAKUZA have already been
established,” frontman Bruce Lamont says about the band's sound.
“We are not interested in creating music that’s not easily
definable. Our roots are firmly planted in metal - yes, but like life,
the sounds here are not cut and dry. At times this record can be uplifting,
cruel, celebratory and just downright fuckin’ mean."

The wait is over. Our swedish thrashin’ Death´n´Rollers
ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET have announced the winner of the
"Name The Monster"-Competition.
Fans from all over the world got the possibility to propose a name for
the monster that is featured on the frontcovers of both ONE MAN ARMY
AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET albums, "21st Century Killing Machine"
and "Error In Evolution". The main price is the guitar that
singer Johan Lindstrand (ex-THE CROWN) used to compose most of the songs
that were featured on their debut. Here´s a statement directly
from the ARMY:
"Hey there! The moment you´ve all been waiting for is here!
We got 450 names to chose from but there can be only one. The grand
price goes to Roberto Ketter, Santiago, Chile. He has chosen the name
"General Grim" for us. That´s a heavy name that definitely
fits the whole concept. Thank you very much Roberto. You will get the
BIG guitar package sent to you within the next days.Congratulations!!
The ARMY says HAIL! HAIL! HAIL!
The 2nd price goes to Stijn Verjans, Bilzen, Belgium. The 3rd price
goes to Erik Lindbom, Trollhättan, Sweden! Both of you chose some
real cool names and will get some really cool prices sent to you shortly.
Other than that we will send some special stuff for the next 7 spots.
Keep your hopes high ´cause maybe YOU will be one of the lucky
ones.
Anyway, this shit is now over and we wanna thank all 400 of you that
participated in finding us a good name for our baby. Thanks and cheers
to you all. See you all on the summer festivals!"

our Spring tour with MUSHROOMHEAD," multi-instrumentalist and co-founder

Marazene on round two. It's been a crazy ride for the past twelve months
and we're anxious to get in the studio and squeeze out a pile of Machine
Metal before we head back out on the road in the Fall."
"We're at the one year mark for 'MachiNation' and we're happy with
the reception by friends, fans, and critics alike to both the album
and the live show but we're still looking ahead," multi-instrumentalist

KATAKLYSM singer Maurizio Iacono offers an update on future activities:
"First off, I want to sincerely thank everyone involved with The
Invaluable Darkness Tour we just completed with our friends DIMMU. We
would like to thank them for treating us like brothers and to all their
crew for helping us out when we needed it. This new friendship is forged
in blood! Thanks also to Devildriver whom we shared a bus with and developed
a new friendship. Last but not least, the dudes in Unearth, all cool
people. This tour was a triumph for us in all senses, especially to
be able to play for our fans on a bigger package, who proved to us everyday
that all the blood and sweat wasn't for nothing. The words of encouragement
from our fans mean EVERYTHING. We're gonna finish writing a new album,
titled Prevail, this summer, because we know how important this one
will be for our fans, and "prevail" is exactly what we want
to do with this album. It has to be as perfect as we can make it. If
it doesn't bring the goosebumps, it ain't coming out right. Guitarist
J-F Dagenais will produce and engineer the album as always. The album
will be mixed by another producer wich we will announce shortly, the
album is schedualed for an april 2008 release . In the m eantime, we
have two more tours planned this year: late summer or early fall in

- ALL THAT REMAINS to shoot DVD footage in Baltimore
Massachusetts' ALL THAT REMAINS has announced that the band will film
an upcoming live performance for inclusion on the band's forthcoming
DVD release. Tentatively scheduled for release later this year, ALL
THAT REMAINS has been compiling footage for inclusion since the band's
2004 release, 'This Darkened Heart,' including a previous performance
in Philadelphia earlier this year. The as-yet-untitled DVD is scheduled
for a fall release through Prosthetic Records.
"As everyone knows we shot footage for a DVD," frontman Phil
Labonte said. "Unfortunately, some of the audio files were corrupted
so we have to shoot again. I know, this is getting stupid, but we don't
want to put out some sub par, crappy DVD. Most of you guys 'n gals have
been with us for a long time and waiting almost as long for the DVD.
We are working hard to make sure if you plunk down 20 bucks, you get
what you pay for: A full live show and enough extras to give you a sense
of who we are. With that being said I'm gonna announce there is going
to be another ALL THAT REMAINS DVD shoot Thursday, July 12th at The
Recher Theater in Towson, MD; other acts TBA. This also will also stand
as a makeup show for the Baltimore date we missed on the Bullet For
My Valentine tour. So come on out, again. Get into it!"
Currently supporting the band's latest album, 'The Fall of Ideals,'
ALL THAT REMAINS has already toured Europe twice for the record and
just recently completed headlining dates, support dates for Bullet For

and Killswitch Engage among others. Now, the band will appear on the
July 14 Sounds of the Underground date before heading to Mexico for
the first time before departing again for Europe, which includes a performance
at the prestigious Wacken: Open-Air festival.
"We got home last Monday from Canada, from the Tour And Loathing
tour with Protest The Hero," Labonte said. "What a great fucking
time. After all the crap with the van and missing shows, the last week
and a half were AMAZING! To everyone who came out and supported ATR:
