- GodHateCode sign with Maintain Records
2008 is going to be heavy! We are glad to welcome the mighty Death Metal
ordnance GodHateCode in our family. Even though the album "Aeons",
which will be out in early 2008, is a debut release, the names behind
that international heavy-formation are not unknown: behind the drums
is no one else but the Swedish ex-GRAVE/COERCION drummer Pelle Ekegren,
moreover are the Austrians Wolfgang Rothbauer (THIRDMOON, IN SLUMBER)
and Armin Schweiger (DISTASTE) on board. For a short time, the quartet
is completed by Tana (Antonio Carlos Rodriguez Espigares), who is also
playing Bass in the Spanish band AVULSED.
With these musicians, the musical concept of the band is quite obvious:
"old-school death-metal meets modern and straight in the face brutality!",
as described by the band itself.
GodHateCode is by no means a pure studio allstars project, for international
touring is definitely planned for the next year.
By then, and until the release of "Aeons", you can blast your
ears away with a first sample of the recording sessions, available on
the band´s myspace profile.

- WORLD EXCLUSIVE: EXODUS “RIOT ACT” VIDEO DEBUTS ON HEADBANGERS
BALL
Deemed one of metal’s most important heritage bands for the lasting
– and ongoing - contributions they’ve made to the creation
and sustenance of the thrash metal genre, it is only apt that the first
EXODUS video in support of their recently released, Billboard Heatseekers-charting
album, The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A, would be visually pummeling.
The band’s video for “Riot Act,” directed by Jon Schnepp
of Metalocalypse (on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim) for Schneppzone
Inc., will debut online this Friday, December 7th on the Headbangers
Blog website and on-air on Saturday, December 8th on MTV2’s Headbangers
Ball (check local listings for show times).
Calling in from a helicopter somewhere over Santa Monica, Jon Schnepp
had this to say about his experience working with EXODUS:
“I had an AMAZING time working with ALL those guys – Gary,
Rob, Jack, Lee, and Tom… they’re all GREAT. They did a FANTASTIC
job and made it a really fun shoot. They were FULL of energy with EVERY
take and you really can’t ask for more than that!”
“We went out on a limb and asked Jon if he'd shoot our video,”
reminisces EXODUS guitarist/songwriter/founding member Gary Holt. “When
he said yes, we were stoked to say the least. The ideas he came up with
made this our best video ever! I usually hate making videos, but this
time I was actually excited about it! It’s unique, and of course,
it’s heavy! We’re happy to see how things have been going
for the new record. Number 23 on the Heatseekers chart - pretty killer
indeed! Now it’s time to hit the road and play these songs –
that’s what I’M talking about!!!”
EXODUS will be launching a North American tour in support of The Atrocity
Exhibition: Exhibit A on January 20th, 2008 in Bakersfield, California
with Goatwhore, Arsis, and Warbringer that will culminate in a hometown
show in San Francisco on February 24th at Slim’s.

"I'm not entirely sure if I can convey how truly beautiful parts
of this album are, while still retaining a 'metalness' that fans of
some of the bands above can still appreciate... Grayceon is absolutely
fucking fantastic and early contender for my album of the year."
- Digitalmetal.com
"Grayceon have released an inventive and vivid debut that easily
bests most metal released this year. Looks like Vendlus Records has
gotten another good start in 2007. Highly recommended." - Metalreview.com

- KYLESA to tour Europe with Baroness in early 2008
Savannah, Ga. sludge rockers KYLESA will return to Europe in late January
alongside fellow Georgians Baroness for nearly a month of live shows,
returning to the old world for the first time since 2006. The band continues
to support its latest effort, 'Time Will Fuse Its Worth,' which spawned
the Dave Brodsky-directed video for "Hollow Severer" - available
online
here and at video outlets across the country.
"When viewed on Headbanger's Ball in the context of other heavy
music videos, I think that our video will offer something a little different
than the average live footage video," guitarist/singer Laura Pleasants
has said. "The depiction of the narration is abstracted and literal
with the use of simple claymation and an overall raw energy is captured
by David and Allie of My Good Eye (Goatwhore, The Acacia Strain). They
were great and easy to work with and we hope to work with them again
in the future."
Having already toured alongside Genghis Tron, The Hidden Hand, Lacuna
Coil, Modern Life Is War and Converge as well as appearing at Los Angeles
Murderfest 3.0 and South By Southwest, KYLESA continues to support Time
Will Fuse Its Worth. Recorded by KYLESA guitarist/vocalist Philip Cope,
the record saw a late October 2006 release through Prosthetic Records.

- WARBRINGER - post new video report online; shoot video for “Combat
Shock”!
LA thrashers WARBRINGER recently stopped by the American Century Media
office and issued the following video report. Click on the link below
to see what the band has to say about their biggest influences, recording
with the renowned Bill Metoyer (Slayer, D.R.I. and Sacred Reich) and
touring with the legendary Exodus. Also, the clip contains scenes filmed
during the band’s mini-gig at the Century Media warehouse, so
check it out & get thrashed! Just click HERE!
The group’s much anticipated new effort, “War Without End”,
will be released on February 28th, 2008 and guarantees a delicious Thrash
Metal feast passionately reviving the sound of Baloff-era Exodus, Slayer’s
“Hell Awaits”, and Kreator’s “Pleasure to Kill”
for the 21st century in a strikingly inspired fashion.
WARBRINGER also shot their first promotional video over the weekend
for the track, “Combat Shock,” with acclaimed director Dan
Dobi (Cannibal Corpse). The video is a brutally intense performance
based clip that perfectly showcases the band’s unrelenting live
energy. Look for it to make its debut online early next year.

- SLIK HELVETIKA KICKS ASS ON ‘KRYPT KICKER 5’ EP
There was a time – seemingly not long ago – that many rock
bands seemed afraid to show off their ‘heavy metal side.’
This is where Slik Helvetika comes in - the group is an unashamed metal
band to the bone, as evidenced by their recent EP, ‘Krypt Kicker
5.’ Issued via Screaming Ferret Wreckords and Metro City Records,
the release touches upon all of the group’s influences, as the
vocals and guitar work would undoubtedly make Rob Halford and Zakk Wylde
mighty proud.
Led by singer/guitarist Mikhall Myers, the group – which also
includes guitarist J. Lee Haven, bassist Kurt Wagenseil, and drummer
Mark Bennett - has quickly created a name for themselves throughout
the metal underground. Originally forming in 2005, Myers assembled the
group after he had “Put the metal away for a while after escaping
the woes of being signed by a major label throughout the 80's",
while leading a band called Destroyer. By their time of maturity, musical
trends had changed, and rather than playing a lackluster popular genre,
"I decided not to be half-hearted, and waited until powerful and
energetic music with balls would have a chance again. That time is now!”
Myers isn’t kidding, as Slik Helvetika is one mighty metallic
beast, and such tracks as “Bastard” and “Pray for
the Future” prove it. And they also break up the fury with several
skits throughout ‘Krypt Kicker 5,’ which only adds to the
intensity once they return with another hard hitter. Just don’t
ask Myers to select a personal favorite. “Every song and skit
on that disc is our favorite. We had to choose from 62 songs.”
And it appears as though ‘Krypt Kicker 5’ is only the beginning
for these metal diehards, as the next year will be a busy one for Slik
Helvetika.
“We are looking at options to get on a tour in '08, and we hit
the studio to begin recording our full-length new disc, titled ‘Slik,
Six, Six,’ in January 2008. We again have a lot of material to
choose from. It is "up in the air" what label will get the
disc right now. We are also talking about licensing our underground
self-titled debut.”
No doubt you will be hearing more from this fiercely rocking band in
the coming months. And lastly, what’s up with the band’s
moniker?
“The band's name means ‘Eat the Wovenesta’ in Siamese.
Just kidding! First of all, it sounds cool. Now...everyone has a homework
assignment and should find out what Confoederatio Helvetica means in
Latin, why the Helvetican warriors were thought to be invincible in
the 1500’s, and which Helvetii tribe made captive Roman soldiers
pass under the yoke upon the victory in the battle of Gaul which enraged
Caesar.”

- THE FUNERAL PYRE prepares for West Coast tour with Book Of Black Earth
Los Angeles-based band THE FUNERAL PYRE will hit the road in January
for a West Coast Tour alongside Seattle's Book of Black Earth. Starting
in Seattle in early January, the package will head down to California
before wrapping up. Currently writing new material for a forthcoming
new album, THE FUNERAL PYRE will showcase a new song on the road alongside
songs from the band's latest effort, 'The Nature of Betrayal,' which
saw a March re-release through Prosthetic after a distribution deal
with Creator Destructor records.
"We are finishing songs, playing them live and fine tuning what
will be the 3rd installment in the Funeral Pyre career of metal,"
the band wrote recently on its blog.
"It's been a long time already, to think that we're already on
our 3rd record!? Nobody would have ever guessed we'd be here. I mean,
we're not popular or anything, but hey, I like to think that we've accomplished
a lot! If you have heard any of the new songs live, I'd really enjoy
if you could give us some feedback about what you thought of them. These
songs will be different than 'The Nature Of Betrayal' but yet the same...It's
a big cycle we go through, you hear the same music, but it sounds different.
How does that work? I'm not quite sure, but you will find out in 2008."

- Stigma Completes Debut, Tracklisting Revealed
Italy's Stigma Completes Work On Debut, Reveals Tracklisting
Italy’s rising force in deathcore, STIGMA, has completed the recording
process for their upcoming debut album, "When Midnight Strikes!",
which is due out in spring 2008 through Pivotal Rockordings. The album
was recorded at Db Studios with producer Ettore Rigotti (DISARMONIA
MUNDI) and was mixed and mastered by Alessandro Vanara (DISARMONIA MUNDI,
SLOWMOTION APOCALYPSE). Cover artwork, which was completed by Davide
Nadalin, who has previously worked with NILE, THESHOLD, and THE DUSKFALL,
can be seen here.
Vocalist Vlad comments:
“We're thrilled about the final result! We knew Ettore [Rigotti]
is an outstanding producer, but we never thought we could reach this
level at only the first album! We've recorded everything at its best,
using only killer stuff and added all the melodies, solos, atmospheres,
insane breakdowns and horrific parts we dreamed about during the songwriting!
When Midnight Strikes! is truly an amazing debut, and we really can't
wait to offer you the chance to listen to it!"
"When Midnight Strikes!" features guest appearances from Tim
Zlinsky (THE CLASSIC STRUGGLE), Alberto Zannier (SLOWMOTION APOCALYPSE),
Ivan Odorico (SLOWMOTION APOCALYPSE), and Mike Lunacy (DARK LUNACY).

in the recordings. A video for the first single, “I Am Dracula,”
was filmed by WhereCloudsPart and features a cameo appearance from Belgian
break dancer Metal Girl. A teaser for the video of “I Am Dracula”
can be found on the band’s official YouTube

- New MALEVOLENT CREATION Live Footage Online!
From: Charles Elliott <Charles@nuclearblastusa.com>
To: undisclosed-recipients:;
Date: Tue, 11 Dec 2007 3:12 pm
For immediate release:
Footage from MALEVOLENT CREATION’s December 5th show at The Rock
in Tucson, AZ is now available online. The performance was captured
on the band’s current “Death by Decibels Tour” sponsored
by REVOLVER MAGAZINE. The event also features some of today’s
finest extreme metal acts including VADER, CATTLE DECAPITATION, LIGHT
THIS CITY, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS and VEIL OF MAYA. Check out the songs “Multiple
Stab Wounds” and “Eve
of the Apocalypse” .
MALEVOLENT CREATION has recruited drummer Fabian Aguirre (SYNAPTICIDE,
ex-GRINDCRUSHER, MISTY FATE, ANGEL NEGRO) as the replacement for the
recently departed Dave Culross. Handling the bass duties for the group
on the road will reportedly be Marco Martell, who has already previously
toured with the band.
The band previously stated about Aguirre, "MALEVOLENT CREATION
compare this drummer to a Gene Hoglan-type of style and is a brutally
fast hard-hitter."
For more information on Fabian Aguirre, visit his MySpace
page.
MALEVOLENT CREATION's new album, "Doomsday X", was released
in the U.S. on July 17 via Nuclear Blast Records and in Europe on August
24 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded and engineered at Mercury
Recording Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida by longtime friend and producer
(and sometimes session member) Gus Rios, and is said to be the most
diverse MALEVOLENT CREATION album recorded to date and "without
a doubt their fastest!!" Mick Thomson, guitarist for SLIPKNOT,
contributed a "ripping" guitar solo to the song "Deliver
My Enemy".

- METALCAMP Announces HELLOWEEN Performance
Dear Metalcampers,
For five years, Slovenian festival METALCAMP has been carving the message
of music and freedom into the harts of heavy metal fans from all over
the world.
Every year we try to provide you the best and most important artists
in the history of heavy metal. Metalcamp is like having a dream collection
of favourite bands, all there at one place in one week, ready to play
for you. And this is the main idea behind Metalcamp holidays- a festival
with all possible metal genres and sub genres.
We are more than happy to announce one of the pioneers of German heavy
metal scene, a band that everyone loves, and a band that carved their
massage to all of us:
HELLOWEEN means a lot to heavy metal crowd. They represent the scene.
It’s the name that has always been here, the name that we all
grew up with and who taught us about real heavy metal. Helloween entertain
us since 1985. In mid 80ies they started one of the most important legacies
for the history of heavy metal. Their first era started with EPs ‘Helloween’
and ‘Judas’ and their first LP ‘Walls of Jericho’.
This is when they introduced us with the first vision of melodic European
speed metal.
They made the first line up change, got a new singer and this period
sealed them as one of the most successful German heavy metal bands of
all time. Young talented singer Michael Kiske joined Helloween in 1987
and recorded great albums as ‘Keeper of the 7 Keys’ in 1987
and ‘Keeper of the 7 keys Pt. 2’ in 1988.
Guitarist Kai Hansen decided to leave the band shortly after. But Helloween
kept recording and put out ‘Pink Bubbles go Ape’ in 1991
and ‘Chameleon’ in 1993. A big change had to happen. Helloween
experimented in different musical styles but soon, after Kiske left
the band, returned to their original sound and style. Andi Deris joined
Helloween in 1994 and they recoded the comeback album ‘Master
of the Rings’. In 1996 they released another important album;
‘The Time of the Oath’ which is a tribute album, recorded
in the memory of their long time drummer Ingo. Even more successful
era followed with the release of ‘Better that Raw’ in 1998
and the millennium release ‘The Dark Ride’. In 2003 they
had some more line up changes and released ‘Rabbit don’t
Come Easy’. Helloween impressed us again with their DVD ‘Keeper
of the 7 keys- The Legacy World Tour’ and released another great
studio album ‘Gambling with the Devil’ in 2007.
This will be first time for Helloween performing METALCAMP and believe
us…Metalcamp will go crazy!!!!!
Another new confirmation is Mystic Prophecy
They performed Metalcamp festival two years ago. They proved to be the
true messengers of heavy metal, a real machine, a progressive band with
sophisticated touch and a special feeling. They can play with emotions
and speed metal at the same time. Mystic Prophecy released great albums
like ‘Savage Souls’, ‘Regresus’, ‘Vengeance’
and the best in their career ‘Satanic Curses’. The record
that will bring you various metal styles, influenced by American and
European, researched in old and new.
It will be just great to see the top four German heavy metal acts, each
presenting its own school and perspective of heavy metal. Mystic Prophecy
will complete the German melodic heavy list together with Brainstorm,
Rage and Helloween.

- KING DIAMOND Receives Grammy Nomination For Best Metal Performance
Metal Blade is both very proud and excited to announce that King Diamond
has received a Grammy Nomination for BEST METAL PERFORMANACE for the
track Never Ending Hill off their latest album Give me Your Soul…
Please.
King comments on his bands nomination:
“It’s a great honor to be picked as a nominee; it’s
totally shocking and unexpected. We do feel as a band that this is the
best album we have ever done. Hopefully there will be many more albums
and tours to come. We feel that we have at least another good 10 years
in us! This nomination is a testament to our legion of loyal fans and
our thanks go out to them for the endless support and all of the kind
words.”
Metal Blade owner and CEO Brian Slagel comments on having two bands
nominated for this years Grammy’s:
“All of us at Metal Blade Records are extremely honored to have
2 of our artists, As I Lay Dying and King Diamond, nominated for Grammy
awards. They both truly deserve this honor for the great artistry they
have accomplished on these tremendous releases.”
King Diamond’s Give Me Your Soul… Please was released on
June 26th 2007 and came in at #174 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart!
Give Me Your Soul… Please is a blistering metal horror-opera concept
album that draws from themes from the occult and both King Diamond’s
personal life, after-life experiences, as well as King Diamond’s
signature dark imagination. The result is a montage of murder mysteries
meets nightmare dream sequences wrapped in a proto-power-metal soundtrack.
As King describes it, “Give Me Your Soul… Please is a horror
murder mystery story mixed with reality from beginning to end.”

- HATE ETERNAL Announces New Album Title And Track Listing
Tampa, FL’s very own Hate Eternal is back with the follow up to
their critically acclaimed 2005 release I, Monarch, titled Fury and
Flames. Fury and Flames will be the bands most diverse and emotionally
fueled record to date due mainly in part to the passing of bassist and
good friend Jared Anderson.
Hate Eternal founder and vocalist/guitarist Erik Rutan recently did
an interview with MTVnews.com where he stated, “Jared was one
of my best friends, and his passing away really affected me and influenced
this record a lot. It's a very dark and heavy record — not just
heavy as in 'heavy metal,' but heavy-hearted as well." Go HERE
to read the full article.
Fury and Flames will feature cover art by Paul Romano (Mastodon, Animosity,
The Red Chord) and features the addition of new members Shaune Kelley
as second guitarist and Jade Simonetto on drums. The addition of second
guitarist Shaune means that this will be the first time Hate Eternal
will be able to perform as a four piece live. Something fans will be
able to experience on the first tour for Fury and Flames when the band
heads out with label-mates The Black Dahlia Murder. Alex Webster of
Cannibal Corpse fame stepped in on bass for the recording, but due to
his insane schedule with Cannibal will not be able to tour with the
band.
Fury and Flames will be in stores and online everywhere on February
19th 2008.
Fury and Flames track listing:
1. Hell Envenom
2. Whom Gods May Destroy

6. Thus Salvation
7. Proclamation of the Damned

- THROWDOWN's SCUM OF THE EARTH TOUR KICKS OFF IN FEBRUARY
Soilwork, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, War Of Ages Set To Take Part
Orange County, CA - THROWDOWN will headline The Scum Of The Earth Tour
which is set to kick off in February and will cross the United States
(and some Canadian cities as well) through early April. It is the band's
first headlining tour in support of their new album, Venom & Tears,
which was released in August.
Joining Throwdown on the bill for the Scum Of The Earth Tour, which
is presented by Black Rose District Clothing, will be Swedish metal
madmen Soilwork, whose own Sworn to a Great Divide was recently released
to rave reviews from fans and critics. THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD
are also onboard, touring in support of a new album of their own, Malice.
War Of Ages rounds out what is sure to be a devastating lineup.
"We haven't headlined our own tour in a long time, which is exciting,"
commented Throwdown frontman Dave Peters. "The most rewarding thing
about playing our songs live is interacting and communicating with the
audience. And now that our new album has been out for a few months,
the songs have had a chance to really sink in, and we're looking forward
to seeing people's reactions to songs both new and old."
"We're also very stoked to be touring with Soilwork who are coming
all the way over from Sweden," Peters added. "And with THROUGH
THE EYES OF THE DEAD and War Of Ages onboard, it's a very strong and
diverse bill."
Venom & Tears is Throwdown's fastest-selling album, garnering favorable
comparisons to landmark records by legendary metal bands while offering
newfound metallic depth and emotional complexity. Peters recently interviewed
Sepultura/ Soulfly founder Max Cavalera for Revolver's "Rebel Meets
Rebel" feature.
Throwdown have spent the last four years on the road as part of Vans
Warped Tour, Ozzfest, Sounds of the Underground and as support for Machine
Head, Soulfly, Lamb Of God, In Flames and As I Lay Dying, pausing briefly
to write and record Venom & Tears and 2005's Vendetta album.
Soilwork is currently part of a massive US tour with Killswitch Engage
and Lamb Of God. The band's new single is featured as a downloadable
track for Guitar Hero III. THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD will soon shoot
another video with director Dave Brodsky, having taken part in a sold-out
tour with All That Remains and As I Lay Dying. War Of Ages is busy writing
the followup to Pride of the Wicked, which will be produced by Tim Lambesis.
The Scum Of The Earth Tour will be preceded by Throwdown dates in smaller
cities on the West Coast with My Children My Bride and Arsonists Get
All The Girls in support. Look for confirmed dates for that very soon.
"We're going to be stepping up our production on this tour as well,
both sonically and visually," Peters added. "And with a bill
as energized as this one, it's going to make for a great show all around."
Here are the confirmed dates for the SCUM OF THE EARTH TOUR featuring
Throwdown, Soilwork, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD and War Of Ages.

- Ozzy Osbourne Bassist Confirmed For Metal Recording Industry Documentary
Rob "Blasko" Nicholson Confirmed For Metal Recording Industry
Documentary
Rob "Blasko" Nicholson (Cryptic Slaughter, Drown, Prong, Danzig,
Rob Zombie and current Ozzy Osbourne bassist) has been confirmed to
take part in the upcoming metal recording industry documentary Behind
The Suit and Tie. Filming will take place on December 21 in NYC.
Through a series of interviews with players from both indie and major
labels, Behind The Suit and Tie will showcase the truth of how the music
industry is being affected by the downward spiral of CD sales and how
new and up and coming artists must learn to adjust to changing times.
The film will also contain insight from Radio DJ Eddie Trunk, Paul Conroy
(Ferret Records), Missi Callazzo (Megaforce Records), Al Dawson (Earache
Records), Pat Egan (Relapse Records), Ray Harkins (Century Media), JC
(The End Records), Mark Nawara (Crash Music), Gary Susalis (Music Choice),
Rayny Forster (Moshpit Tragedy), Demolition Records, Heavy Artillery
Records, Ex-Megadeth and current F5 bassist David Ellefson, and Soulfly/Primer
55 bassist Bobby Lee Burns. More labels and artists are subjected to
be added.
Behind The Suit and Tie pulls no punches and features some of the prime
movers in the heavy metal industry drawing back the veil of mystique
surrounding the music business and addressing tough questions about
the industry itself, how it's run and where labels see their role in
a digital future. There has been a lot of bad blood shed throughout
the metal recording industry for many years now and it's time we separate
fact from fiction.
Robert Jr./Producer, Energy Music comments: "This film is not going
to be your ordinary music documentary. We will deliver a strong message
throughout the heavy metal community to show you what is fact and what
is fiction. We have started full production on November 1 in NYC and
things are moving along as planned."

- SUICIDE SILENCE “The Cleansing” release date and on tour
with Parkway Drive and Bury Your Dead
SUICIDE SILENCE’s amazing album “The Cleansing” will
finally hit Europe February 18th! Upon the US release of the album SUICIDE
SILENCE made a huge statement to the metal world by entering the US
Billboard Top 200 chart at #94, which marks the highest debut ever for
a new Century Media artist.
SUICIDE SILENCE adheres to no preconceived notions and refuses to be
pigeonholed into any specific genre. Their music clearly represents
their many influences, incorporating a savage mix of death metal, grindcore,
black metal, hardcore and doom elements into each track. The songs are
dynamic and crushing, shifting effortlessly from insane grind chaos
into surgically precise, disorienting time signatures topped off with
snail-paced grooves and destructive breakdowns. Check out songs from
“The Cleansing” at:
www.myspace.com/suicidesilence
In spring 2007 they entered the studio with John Travis (Kid Rock, Static-X)
to record their debut full-length while the renowned Tue Madsen (Dark
Tranquillity, The Haunted) handled mixing duties. Its outstanding artwork
was done by the legendary Dave McKean (Sandman comics, classic covers
for Machine Head, My Dying Bride, Testament, Fear Factory).
The devastating quintet from Riverside, California separated themselves
from the underground through an undying work ethic and undeniable live
performance. Not only did the band tour North America relentlessly with
the likes of Unearth and Darkest Hour, but also went headlining for
Despised Icon, Winds of Plague and Walls Of Jericho as well as simply
ruling the UK on their first visit in 2006. Now, it will be time for
their first tour all over Europe with Parkway Drive and Bury Your Dead.
Vocalist Mitch Lucker comments:
“We’re extremely pleased to be hitting the road once again
with our friends in Bury Your Dead. We had a blast touring with them
in the states and now it’s time to conquer the other side of the
world on a great package featuring Parkway Drive as the headliner. We’re
not really sure what to expect as we’ll be playing in many of
these markets for the first time, but hopefully the European fans will
live up to all the crazy things we’ve heard about them. See you
on the road!”

- POISONBLACK are recording "A Dead Heavy Day"
Finland’s dark rockers POISONBLACK have just hit Soundmix Studio
in their hometown Oulu with Kari Vähäkuopus for recordings
of their 3rd album "A Dead Heavy Day".
Drummer Tarmo Kanerva states:
“On the one hand there is going to be some really melodic songs
and on the other hand the heavy stuff is heavier than anything we have
ever done before. Still, you won’t need to be afraid of dramatic
changes. It’ll be the typical POISONBLACK sound.”
The band featuring former Sentenced singer Ville Laihiala has supported
their labelmates Lacuna Coil on their European tour end of 2006 and
