- BLINDED COLONY, MUSIC VIDEO POSTED ONLINE AND TOUR DATES ANNOUCED
WITH EKTOMORF
Karlshamn Sweden's BLINDED COLONY have posted the music video for their
first single "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" on their MYSPACE
PAGE, their OFFICIAL
WEBSITE as well as the newly launched Pivotal Rockordings YOUTUBE
channel. "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" comes from BLINDED COLONY's
forthcoming album, Bedtime Prayers which is due out January 9 Worldwide
and January 12 in Europe. The video was filmed in the band's hometown
of Karlshamn and was produced by director Thomas Tjäder (In Flames).
Guitarist Tobias Olsson had the following to say regarding the video
for "Once Bitten, Twice Shy":
"As you can see we release our the official video for "Once
Bitten, Twice Shy" today. It was originally recorded in late 2005,
but re-edited once again by Thomas Tjäder (In Flames), check it
out and let us know what you think about it! Some of you may have seen
the old version of the video with 'demo' version of "Once Bitten,
Twice Shy", but we encourage you to not watch that one since it
is now outdated. Check out the new one, spread it to your friends, and
enjoy it!"
BLINDED COLONY will also hit the road with Hungary's EKTOMORF for an
extensive European/UK tour in February and March. Guitarist Tobbe Olsson
had the following to say regarding the tour."
We are doing a European tour together with Ektomorf stretching from
the 1st of Feb to the 10th of March. This is what BLINDED COLONY has
been working for all these years and finally the hard work have paid
off! We are excited to hit the road with Ektomorf also since we had
such a great time with them in Germany earlier this month! We are really
looking forward to going back to Germany and playing to the awesome
crowds there as well as our first trip to the UK. We know we have a
great fan base there and we certainly look forward to giving everyone
in Europe the chance to finally see us live!"
These are the confirmed tour dates for Ektomorf/BLINDED COLONY European

- TUNES OF GREY release Fading to Grey
The gothic metal band TUNES OF GREY released their first demo, entitled
Fading to Grey, which has the following five tracks:
01 - My Ending Justify My Path
02 - Die To Live
03 - Live Forever
04 - Making Love (In The Cemetery Ground)
05 - Fire In My Veins
The band' influences come from the "finnish school" formed
by bands like To Die For, Charon, HIM and Poisonblack, to the complexity
and instrumental beauty of bands like Opeth and Dream Theater, with
a passional and romantic touch present in the literature of J. W. Goethe
and fatalist of Herman Hesse, forming the identity which is presented
in the form of Tunes of Grey.
The demo is already receiving good response from the fans and press.
In the first review, made by the All
The Bangers webzine, besides of receiving the highest score, the
cd was described as "great" and "catchy, but melancholic",
great comments were also made about the musicians and production.
Some samples of Fading to Grey are available in the band's website -
www.tunesofgrey.com.br and

- WINTERS BANE To Debut New Lineup In February
WINTERS BANE, the classic U.S. metal band from Akron, OH, will be debuting
their new lineup with a hometown show on Saturday, February 3, 2007
at Crossroads. WINTERS BANE will be performing songs from their entire
catalog, including "Heart of a Killer", "Girth",
and last year's critically acclaimed comeback album, "Redivivus".
Also on the bill will be H.A.T.E., the side project of SHATTER MESSIAH
singer Greg Wagner, and Auburn Records recording artist WRETCH.
WINTERS BANE's new lineup is composed of founding member Lou St. Paul
on guitars, bassist Jeffrey "Doc" Welch (who also performs
with Lou in KILL PROCEDURE), vocalist Jeff "Z" Zaigen (ex-MOB
SCENE), and returning drummer Jeff Curenton (ex-SEVEN WITCHES).
According to a press release, "The band is very pleased to have
Jeff Zaigen as their new singer, as his extraordinary vocal talents
will shine thorough on the band's next album, 'Heart of a Killer –
II', which will be released next summer and is a continuation of the
story told on their revered first album.
"This change in the vocalist and drum positions was an unfortunate
inevitability, as both Alexander Koch and Mark Cross were based in Germany,
and reality dictated that Lou needed to find local musicians to form
a fully functioning band that can write, record, and tour on a regular
basis. He wishes to thank Alex and Mark for their contributions on 'Redivivus',
and wishes them both much success with their other bands

- ROB HALFORD Speaking For Everyone On New Single
Launch Radio Networks reports: Rob Halford has stepped away from JUDAS
PRIEST for a moment to release some solo material. The frontman has
reissued his solo work through his own Metal God Entertainment label,
and he's also released a new single called "Forgotten Generation".
The song deals with alienation, and Halford told Launch that he wrote
the lyrics to speak to and for everyone. "To me, it means the assertation
of every individual to kind of have a voice that's valuable and needs
to be heard," he said. "So I'm talking about hypocrisy, I'm
talking about, you know, speaking up and letting your feelings be felt
and heard, and not being passed by, and that's just a streak that I
carry with me, I'm the eternal optimist, in that respect."
Halford's music is available on iTunes and through the official RobHalford.com
web site.
Halford and JUDAS PRIEST are deep into a concept album about the prophet
Nostradamus, which should be out this year.
- REUNITED ATROCITY TO PLAY FIRST REUNION SHOW IN MARCH 2007
Reunited Torrington, Connecticut-based thrash/hardcore act ATROCITY
(not to be confused with the German band) will play their first show
since the bands reunion earlier this year on March 4th 2007 along side
Necrodemon, Clouds Turned Black and Godless Rising in Winstead, CT
Formed in early 1985 by Rob Wedda (vocals), Rich Flint (bass), Scott
Reynolds (guitar) and Jeff White (drums), ATROCITY had pushed out three
demos ("Toxic Death", "Ravaged by Disease", "Mangled")
and a self-financed seven-inch EP, entitled "Hatred Birth",
by 1989. They soon caught the attention of U.K.-based Metalcore Records,
a subsidiary of Plastichead Distribution, to with they ultimately signed
with.
AROCITY's first album, "Infected" (1990), is very raw and
featured a very violent death metal/grind sound. The second album, "The
Art of Death" (1992), saw a lineup change when Scott left the band
and was replaced by Jesse Piechowski on guitar.
January 30th will see the release of “Contaminated,” which
features alternative recordings from the original “Infected”
sessions. “Contaminated” is currently available for presale
via Open Grave
Records website.

will be available, besides of samples of the new songs.

of Perdition” is a story about how the Devil has made a deal with
corrupt leaders within the church to cause a crime wave through out
the city of Boston. This huge crime wave involves a serial killer on
the loose, the local police, and neo nazis.
Chandler’s last film, “Our Kingdom Come” reached national

Chandler said, “As planned, the indirect Sequel to “OKC”,
“Sons of Perdition”, will be shoot this Jan-March. Just

“The other guys woke up 3am on Sunday morning – I didn’t
sleep at all ‘cos I was on the road with some Satanic Christmas
band. I sat 2 hours in a train and the guys drove 300km from our hellish
hometown Suolahti to Helsinki. The shooting place was a really big and
old train hall – really cool and cruel place. The video will be

we banged our heads about 10 hours and we really hope you’ll enjoy

- MACHINE MEN vocalist previews new album; new song online; live dates
announced!
THE Finnish metal sensation MACHINE MEN, who stormed into the Finnish
single charts’ Top Five with their 2005 single “Falling”,
are ready to deliver the highly anticipated follow-up to their much
lauded last album “Elegies” (2005). Set for a February 19th,
2007 release, the new album “Circus Of Fools” is predestined
to top the success of the predecessor by taking influences from classic
metal gods like Iron Maiden, Queensryche to a completely new powerful
and timely level. To properly preview the new masterpiece of MACHINE
MEN you can check out the title track at the band’s myspace-profile:
www.myspace.com/machinemenband!
So get ready to bang your head!
Vocalist Antony comments on the new effort as follows:
“Hi Brothers & Sisters!
Finally those hard and metallic studio sessions are over and it’s
time to tell you something about the new album. Of course, I will praise
it to the skies to get your attention, but it’s true – it
sounds awesome! The album is heavier and has more metal power than ever
before though it retains our typical melodic feel. We haven’t
forgotten to include some of those emotional, more ballad-kind of songs
either. The album starts off with the title track “Circus Of Fools”
and after that another fast ass kicking song follows. Then slower and
more massive tracks ensue before the album gives you another dose of
faster head banging songs. You can also hear melancholic mandolins and
sing along passages that are purely acoustic. After that, the album
hits you straight in the face again with some harder tunes until you’ll
drown in the waves in the end. We really hope you’ll enjoy your
time with our new album, we are sure we delivered our best! See you
on tour!
Peace,
Antony / Machine Men”
”Circus Of Fools” was recorded at Fantom Studios (Rotten
Sound, Negative; www.fantomstudio.fi ) with Samu Oittinen behind the
knobs. Finnish fans of the band will be glad to hear that a Finland-only
single "No Talk Without The Giant" has been set for release

refreshing, energetic melodic metal sounds into the charts again!

There is no beter champion of thrash metal than Germany's Destruction.
Hailed as one of the genre's innovators, the trio have consistently
delivered a one-two knock out punch of speed and intensity. Uncompromising,
honest and determined they continue twenty years on from their genesis.
"Mad Butcher" comes from the band's forthcoming Thrash Anthems
album, set to hit US stores on January 23. Alongside 12 other
remakes, Thrash Anthems contains two brand new songs ("Deposition/Your
Heads Will Roll" and "Profanity").
Destruction will kick off their headline tour (support via Sadus and
Municipal Waste) on January 20. Dates are posted at www.candlelightecordsusa.com.

- OZZY OSBOURNE To Go Back On The Road In April
Ozzy Osbourne is "getting ready to tour next April" in support
of his new solo album, Ozzy's wife/manager Sharon Osbourne revealed
during an appearance on the "Dr. Phil" show earlier today
(Thursday, December 14). "Three years this Christmas, [he's] clean
and sober," she added.
Osbourne was previously said to be working on two brand new studio CDs.
The first album is tentatively set for release in February 2007. Most
of the music was recorded before Ozzfest in May with Mike Bordin (drums),
Rob "Blasko" Nicholson (bass) and Zakk Wylde (guitar). Wylde
recently announced that he had to cancel three tour dates in October
with his band BLACK LABEL SOCIETY to finish up obligations in the studio
in connection with the new album. The second effort will be the soundtrack
to Ozzy's musical about controversial Russian politician Grigory Rasputin.
The album will be released first, and then the play will debut on Broadway
or as a touring show according to Osbourne.
In a recent interview, Ozzy said, "We wrote a song called 'Rasputin'
(for the 1995 'Ozzmosis' album), but then it never got used, you know,
and then every now and again I'd try to find this tape of songs. We
wrote a bunch of songs, and I put this tape on and thought, 'You know
what? That would be a great musical.' It kind of grew on its own. It's
the traditional 'Fiddler on the Roof'-type of music, plus the kind of
BEATLES-y kind of influence. There's this wonderful song that goes,
'How dark it is before the dawn, the day begins, a child is born.' It's
beautiful. I'm really happy about it. I hope the rest of the world is.
I spent 10 years of my f—king life in this thing."

- LAMB OF GOD To Announce Spring Tour Details 'Very Soon'
LAMB OF GOD is rumored to be planning a U.S. tour with MACHINE HEAD
and TRIVIUM beginning in February and running through April. LAMB OF
GOD drummer Chris Adler stated in an online posting, "So the spring
tour is shaping up nice. We are going to announce the details here in
just a couple of days, but I will say this much — we've been playing
arenas and festivals for almost two years now. While it has been exciting,
huge and surprisingly successful, we are purposefully taking ourselves
out of the arenas and back into the places we started. There is nothing
like the power and energy of an intense club show and we are ready to
breathe that air again. We have also been traveling the beaten path
for several years as well and we are going off course on this one.
"To all of you who 'never get shows,' watch out — you might
be getting one real soon. That's all I can say for now, but keep checking
back — we will announce the package and dates very soon."
As previously reported, LAMB OF GOD has been nominated for a Grammy
in the "Best Metal Performance" category for "Redneck",
the first single from their acclaimed album "Sacrament".
"Sacrament", which was produced by Machine (CLUTCH, KING CRIMSON,
PITCHSHIFTER, EIGHTEEN VISIONS, EVERY TIME I DIE), has sold 158,000
copies in the United States since its August 21, 2006 release, according
to Nielsen SoundScan.

This is for the long time fans out there who have followed the band
from the beginning, and for new fans who otherwise would've never had
a chance to hear where the band came from. It shed's light on the history
of the group, how the DW sound was formed and the early struggles to
make it out of the Chicago local scene.
Ditchwater will begin touring in early 2007 to support both "Going
Forward Looking Back" (released in September of '06) and "Sacred
Relics" before heading into the studio for a brand new album in
the summer.
The new album to be recorded later in '07 will be the first to feature
new vocalist Mike Loomis. Loomis (who hails from Madison, WI) replaces
former singer Mike Meadows who quit the band back in September to pursue
other musical interests.

HEULEND HORN - "FROM THE CAUCASUS TO GOTLAND"
Has the Nordic Men real faith or just believing in their Gods? May themselves
consider their own Gods just a mythology? A pantheon created only for
"ordering the World"? Was there a real combat between the
Viking Gods and the Christ for the faith of the Nordic Men? What happened
ten centuries after the deliverance? Two warriors, two soldiers,
two men wandering in a trip along all the world they know, crossing
rivers and hostile lands in search of their beliefs. Black Pagan Metal
tinged with sounds from the arid Middle East up to the coldness of the
Nordic World.
ECLIPTIC SUNSET-"OF TORMENT AND GRIEF"
This is the new album of Ecliptic Sunset and it shows us a new aspect
of the band. Alejandro Medina opens his soul plenty of dying
visions and atrocious elements, narrating his reality, a reality
of pain and constant bleeding... a fantastic Folk Black Death Metal
opus entirely dedicated to the suffering and the horrors that lurk
in his mind. Of Torment and Grief could be described by the Alejandro's
own words: "The songs of this album are my opened wounds".

DIMMU BORGIR has set "In Sorte Diaboli" as the title of its
new album, tentatively due in early 2007 release via Nuclear Blast Records.
The CD was recorded and mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden
with producers Fredrik Nordström and Patrik J. Sten.
Silenoz previously told Revolver magazine that the songwriting and recording
process for the group's long-anticipated follow-up to 2003's "Death
Cult Armageddon" involved none of the intensive pre-production
of their last two discs, no demos, and no gallinvanting around with
the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. "It's definitely going to sound
way more epic and bigger than we thought, because Mustis [keyboards]
has also contributed with his keyboard ideas," said Silenoz. "I
have to admit that some of the keyboard things on 'Death Cult Armageddon'
sound better on the demo version than [their symphony versions] on the
album. I probably shouldn't say that, but it's true."
This will be DIMMU's first "concept album," a story set in
always-epic Medieval Europe that also serves as a treatise on the modern-day
political and social abuses of organized religion. "There's this
dude that works as a priest's assistant, and after a while he just discovers
that he has nothing to do with Christianity," said Silenoz of the
storyline, which he conceived in full before even a note of music was
composed. "He just sort of has this awakening and realizes that
he has different abilities and different powers and is leaning more
to the dark side."
DIMMU BORGIR's current recording lineup is as follows:
Shagrath - Vocals
Silenoz - Guitars
Galder - Guitars
Vortex - Bass
Mustis - Keys
Hellhammer - Drums

- IRON MAIDEN Frontman Working On Movie About ALEISTER CROWLEY
Rock star, pilot and expert swordsman — now IRON MAIDEN singer
Bruce Dickinson has even becomes a movie producer.
This week, Swedish newspaper Expressen reported that Dickinson is working
on a film about the satanist Aleister Crowley.
"They are hoping for the Cannes festival," a source told Expressen.
Crowley has been Bruce Dickinson's idol for many years. The IRON MAIDEN
song "Revelations" is said to refer to Crowley's classic claim
that he was the "anti-christ 666" reincarnated. In other words,
the Devil himself.
Bruce Dickinson is now involved in the pre-production of a movie inspired
by Crowley, who lived between 1875 and 1947.
"The project has been going on for a while, and is still at an
early pre-production stage," said Dave Pattenden from IRON MAIDEN's
management. "At the moment, Bruce cannot comment on the movie."
The financing is ready and the movie is reportedly about a professor
in an English university, who, after a failed experiment, becomes obsessed
with Crowley's soul. Crowley himself was very much into red-haired women,
and the professor becomes enchanted by a very beautiful, red-haired
student.
"Bruce talked to me about this during the whole dinner," said
Expressen's source. "He is producing and is probably participating
creatively as well. I even think Bruce will be doing the soundtrack
for the movie. I know nothing about dates yet, but I think it will be
released near the Cannes festival. That's what Bruce is hoping for."
- KAMELOT, LEAVES' EYES To Team Up For U.S. Tour This Summer?
According to a posting on the web site of the New York City venue B.B.
King Blues Club & Grill, KAMELOT and LEAVES' EYES are scheduled
to play there on August 19. More North American tour dates are expected
to be announced soon.
KAMELOT and LEAVES' EYES will team up for a European tour beginning
late March. A list of dates can be found at Kamelot.com.
As previously reported, a video clip of KAMELOT performing the song
"When the Lights are Down" on February 11, 2006 at the historic
Rockefeller venue in Oslo, Norway has been posted online at YouTube.com.
The footage comes off the group's first-ever DVD, "One Cold Winter's
Night", which entered the Swedish Music Video chart at position
No. 8. KAMELOT enlisted renowned film and video director Patric Ullaeus
(DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES) to chronicle the night's events.
Bringing with him from Gothenberg, Sweden, Patric had a large crew of
professionals and equipment, including 18 cameras, that would be used
in and around the concert grounds.
KAMELOT is currently working on a new studio album for a spring 2007
release.
- JUDAS PRIEST Looking At Mid-Year Release For 'Nostradamus' Concept
Launch Radio Networks reports: Things are going well with the recording
of the new JUDAS PRIEST album. It's a concept album about the 16th Century
French prophet Nostradamus, and the band has started thinking about
release dates. Frontman Rob Halford told Launch that everyone's excited
about the project. "The writing sessions were fantastic —
some of the best writing that (guitarists) Glenn (Tipton) and K.K. (Downing)
and myself have ever created, and we're in good shape, we're recording.
And finger's crossed, and with the belief that it's ready when it's
ready, we should be out by the middle of 2007 with 'Nostradamus'."
This will be PRIEST's first album since "Angel of Retribution"
came out in 2005, marking Halford's return to the group.
JUDAS PRIEST is also working out the details for a stage show to go
along with the album's subject matter.
- Former MANOWAR Guitarist ROSS THE BOSS To Headline ROB ORIANI BENEFIT
Legendary MANOWAR guitarist Ross The Boss will headline the Rob Oriani
Benefit Memorial Show (for late VYNDYKATOR guitarist Robert "Rob"
Oriani) on Saturday, March 24 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey. Ross
will perform a set of MANOWAR classics from the first six albums. Joining
Ross will be vocalist Prometheus (GODS OF FIRE), bassist Mike LePond
(SYMPHONY X) and drummer Mike Sabatini (ATTACKER).
Ross is featured on MANOWAR's latest DVD, "The Day The Earth Shook
- The Absolute Power".
Commented ATTACKER vocalist Bob Mitchell (who is organizing the show):
"Rob often said to me that the three reasons he played guitar were
Ross, K.K. (Downing) and Glenn (Tipton). I'm truly honored to have [Ross]
as part of this great show that is really coming together. So many bands
and the fans now want to be a part of this and I feel that [True Metal
America, Bob's company] is really sending a profound message. This is
absolutely going to be a great night and a wonderful memory for not
only the fans of heavy metal but for Rob's family whom I love dearly.
I owe a great deal of gratitude to Joanne over at Dingbatz for allowing
such an event to take place. When I went to her with this show, she
didn't hesitate for a moment and said 'yes' right away. She is a true
sister of metal and a wonderful friend."
Two more bands will be confirmed in the next few days to complete the
lineup. Also scheduled to appear are SEVEN WITCHES and DEVIL'S ISLAND.
Set times and admission price will be finalized in the next several
days after the final two bands are set in place. All proceeds (100%)
from the night's performance will go to the family of Rob Oriani.
- AC/DC In Talks To Play Ireland This Year?
According to the AC/DC fan site Crabsody In Blue, The Mirror newspaper
in the U.K. (Irish edition) reports that AC/DC have been asked to headline
next summer's spectacular in Slane, Ireland.
Bosses are banking on the group to sign a contract for a massive one-off
show before 90,000 fans and help it become Ireland's music Mecca again.
Secret negotiations have been taking place to lure the band to Ireland
for a rare appearance.
Slane suffered a huge blow over the past two years when EMINEM cancelled
a sold-out gig in 2005 and no act signed up this year.
A source revealed: "At this stage AC/DC are the number one target
for Slane 2007. The show would be a huge hit and help Slane become the
talk of the music world again.
"AC/DC are one of the biggest selling bands in history and they
would definitely sell somewhere as big as Slane out."
AC/DC have sold over 160 million albums since they launched in 1973.
They are also negotiating outdoor concerts in London, France and Germany
next summer.

Fla., band Denial Fiend, the new project that unites vocalist Kam Lee
(Masscare, Death) with bassist Terry Butler (Massacre, Death, Six Feet
Under), drummer Curtis Beeson (Nasty Savage), and Sam Williams (Down

Tim Roth (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: "It's
a full-blown blizzard here in our hometown, so we have been chilling
out indoors. We plan on hitting the road on Jan. 13th for a Western
Canadian tour, which will lead to an appearance at the Seattle Metal
Fest on Jan. 20th. Hopefully, we'll see everyone out on the road soon!
"The band is ecstatic about our new video, 'Severe Emotional Distress',
which is our first true promotional video. I think it turned out really
well. Kevin did a great job producing the video. The storyline goes
perfect with the aggressiveness of the song and the meaning behind the
lyrics. Hopefully the video will open up new people to our band. Enjoy,
and look for us on the road in the U.S. this spring. See you soon."
Drawing from all aspects of heavy music, "The Scattering of Ashes"
is the perfect blend of technicality, memorable songwriting, traditional
heavy metal and the sheer savagery of metal's extreme genres. INTO ETERNITY
have shown that they aren't afraid to bridge the gap between DREAM THEATER
and DEATH, as well as appease all fans of guitar-oriented music. With
"The Scattering of Ashes", they prove that they are here to

all their own.

- INTO ETERNITY Announces New Members
INTO ETERNITY will kick off 2007 with a short run of headlining dates
leading them into a major U.S. tour this spring. This trek also marks
the addition of new members, Steve Bolognese (ex-BEYOND THE EMBRACE)
on drums and Justin Bender on guitars. Tim Roth (guitars, vocals) states:
"We are really excited to announce Steve and Justin as permanent
members. Both will be hitting the road with us in January. They figured
all the music out by ear, so I didn't have to teach them anything. That
just blew me away. Steve can do rapid-fire double-bass at 240 beats
per minute, so the drumming on the new album won't be a problem for
him. Look for us on the road in the U.S. this spring. See you soon."
- Displeased Records new signing GRIMM
BIOGRAPHY
In early middle ages, when there were few people that could read, troubadours
travelled through the European lands to play for the people and tell
stories about kings, local heroes, good and evil, fairytales and all
things that would give the people both amusement and in a certain way,
faith. One of the stories from that time, is the story of the Pagan
Witches Ensemble Grimm, an elite group of nature spirit occultists that
ruled over a small area of land in the Southern Netherlands. They were
said to be the last resisting pagan druids, finally prosecuted and burned
by the inquisitors of the Vatican. How the story exactly goes, is unknown,
because the only found written documents about them, were burned or
partly destroyed by rats or they simply rotted away.
But, what never faded away, was the idea of their existence and the
strong spiritual force they left behind…….
In the second half of the 19th century, however, some pictures of extraordinary,
gentlemen with supernatural forces were made. They ware said to be reincarnations
of the Grimm-gentlemen. But, also this story tragically ends, because,
before they fully could regain their forces and set up a revolting alliance
against the ruling Christian society, they were brutally executed and
set as an example for other possible revolutionists.
But, finally in the year 2007 they are back, stronger than ever, reunited
in a trinity based coven of unholy heavy metal troubadours, pioneers
of the underworld, wizards of the black arts, called Grimm. Their main
goal: revenge! With their music, they curse al the next generations
of the inquisitors that took both their lives, their powers and the
folk spirit away from their pagan inheritants. The music of Grimm is
a unique mix of haunting medieval folklore music and heavy metal, with
dark poetry as lyrics, witchcraft in a certain way; casting spells,
telling stories about the strength of the dark side of people, revenge
and a gateway to spiritual freedom.
The 3 diabolical masters of entertainment are.:
- Heer Antikrist: vocals, guitars, bass
- Heer VölkhV: guitars, bass
- Heer Marchosias : additional vocals, drums

- 1x1 Music Signs Philadelphia Metal Act "The Divining"
There are a lot of metal bands today forming and assimilating to whatever
fad exists in the scene at the moment. What is lacking in metal today
is the influence of the classic thrash and heavy metal bands that have
been forgotten in the industry-wide worship of nonsense.
With the growing commercialism of metal and the MTV buzzword that's
become "hardcore", many look upon the current state of heavy
music with disappointment and disgust... and who can blame them? Breakdown
focused song writing, image focused bands, and the fact that what has
been a long time scene for many has now become a market and fad for
others.
"The Divining" come to you from Philadelphia, PA--a notorious
and historic city in the world of underground metal and hardcore--as
a reaffirmation of faith, that there are still young bands out there
that have stuck to their guns in this recent movement of metal and hardcore
into pop culture, a movement which has left integrity behind on its
corporate minded warpath.
"The Divining" deliver a refreshing mixture of thrash and
heavy metal, sure to bring back memories of the days when bands like
At The Gates, Pantera, and Testament were among the genre?Äôs
elite.
They will begin recording their 1x1 Music debut, "Revelation Of
The Lost", this December (2006) at Labyrinth Sound (Lamb of God
"Killadelphia", Hellfest DVD series, New England Metal and
Hardcore Fest DVD series) in Cherry Hill, NJ and with Erik Rachel (God
Forbid, A Life Once Lost) at Trax East.
"Revelation Of The Lost is a huge improvement on our sound,"
says Rocco. "We've added a lot of new elements to our music and
have written several tracks that will express our dynamic influences
as a band. The riffs are much stronger and we just spent a lot of time
tweaking everything to put together a record that we could be proud
of". Rocco's lyrics focus on the naivety present today in our society,
in religion, and in matters of politics.
The band has completed tours with One Dead Three Wounded and Lokyata
as well as a full US tour in the summer 2005 and an east coast tour
in January 2006. The Divining have also shared the stage with bands
such as Bleeding Through, Caliban, Sworn Enemy, Full Blown Chaos, The
Minor Times, Himsa, Haste the Day, Scars of Tomorrow, 3 Inches of Blood,
Arsis, Ion Dissonance, Death by Stereo, The Banner, Blacklisted, August
Burns Red, and Ligeia to name a few.
Look for "Revelation Of The Lost" from The Divining during
the spring of 2007 on 1x1 Music.

- DANZIG: Equipment Truck 'Stolen', Santa Cruz Show Cancelled
World Entertainment News Network reports that Glenn Danzig is keen to
take the law into his own hands after a tour truck carrying his stage
equipment was stolen on Thursday night (Nov. 30).
Danzig and his namesake band DANZIG were relaxing after a show in Los
Angeles when the equipment vehicle was stolen.
As well as asking fans for information, angry Danzig is planning his
revenge on the thieves.
He fumes, "I should be able to kill somebody if they fuck with
me."
Meanwhile, one disappointed DANZIG fan who went to see the "Blackest
of the Tour" show in Santa Cruz Thursday night — only to
find out that DANZIG had pulled out of the show at the last minute —
has submitted the following report to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
"I went to the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California [Thursday] night
for what was supposed to be the final show of the latest DANZIG tour,
and lo and behold, the evil one had cancelled without notice or reason.
Only a piece of paper on the wall stating technical difficulties gave
some sort of explanation to the angry and dissapointed fans (myself
included). The rest of the bands on the bill played and tickets were
honored at the door with a seven-dollar refund. I went around back and
got some information from one of the roadies who told me the 'official
story': The guy driving the equipment bus was [allegedly] high on crack
and after the previous night's show became paranoid, so fearing the
police he took off in the bus with the equipment and was M.I.A at the
time of the show. So DANZIG pulled out at the last minute and left many
fans wondering why. The venue's website said nothing about the cancellation,
nor did their phone line. The only way for people to find out about
the cancellation was to go down to the venue, so manypeople who drove
a long way, wasting both time and gas got totally let down."

Rhino Records has set a tentative April 3, 2007 North American release
date for the new Ronnie James Dio-era BLACK SABBATH best-of set, appropriately
titled "Black Sabbath: The Dio Years". The single-disc collection
will include a couple of brand new tracks that are currently being recorded
in England by the lineup of Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler
and Vinny Appice, as well as liner/sleeve notes by Garry Sharpe-Young
of Rockdetector.com. "I've been given a track listing, but I can't
divulge that yet," says Garry. "There are a few interesting
tracks on there, though."
In related news, it's looking likely that Garry Sharpe-Young's BLACK
SABBATH book "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" will undergo a third
amendment next year in light of the HEAVEN AND HELL project (the "new"
band featuring Dio alongside original BLACK SABBATH members Iommi and
Butler, plus Appice). "There's constant demand for this book and
there is a lot more material still to add, both old and new," states
Garry. "Some good surprises in store."
"Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" can be bought at Amazon.com. The
book includes exclusive interview content with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler,
Cozy Powell, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen,
Tony Martin, Geoff Nicholls, Rob Halford, Bob Daisley, Lee Kerslake,
Carmine Appice, Tommy Aldridge, Neil Murray, Dave Spitz, Eric Singer,
David Donato, Jeff Fenholt, Bobby Rondinelli, Rudy Sarzo, Phil Soussan,
Randy Castillo, Bernie Torme, Brad Gillis, Jo Burt, Pete Way, Dana Strum,
Terry Chimes, Lita Ford, Steve Vai, Don Airey, Lindsey Bridgewater,
Terry Nails and many, many more. Additional details: eight-page discography
appendix detailing 264 career albums and singles from BLACK SABBATH,
Ozzy Osbourne, Ronnie James Dio, Bill Ward, Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi.
As previously reported, HEAVEN AND HELL has been confirmed for next
year's Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place June 6-9, 2007 in Sölvesborg,
Sweden. An exclusive New York City concert date for HEAVEN AND HELL
in the spring of 2007 has already been booked but the exact details
have not yet been revealed. Additional U.S. shows are being scheduled
for late summer 2007.
As previously reported, Dio recently revealed to Classic Rock magazine
that HEAVEN AND HELL will likely headline next year's Monsters of Rock
festival in England.
Ozzy Osbourne has sent his best wishes to HEAVEN AND HELL, while adding
that the classic BLACK SABBATH lineup — including drummer Bill
Ward — will release a new album and mount a tour late next year.
"Heaven and Hell" was the name of the first album Dio recorded
with BLACK SABBATH, back in 1980.
- MEGADETH Guitarist: New Album 'Is Very Close To Completion'
MEGADETH guitarist Glen Drover has posted the following message in the
"Forums" section of the band's official web site:
"Just a little note to let you all know that I have just arrived
home safely from the MEGA sessions [for the new album, 'United Abominations']
and all went very very well! Working with [British producer] Andy Sneap
[who is mixing the new CD] is absolutely awesome!!! Andy [NEVERMORE,
MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, CRADLE OF FILTH] is a great guy and saying
that he is the 'right man' for the job would be a complete understatement.
To me, it really feels like we have been working together for a while
— very natural and we are all on the same page. You really cannot
ask for anything more, can you?
"The album is very close to completion now and I will be going
back to finish up my final guitar parts sometime later this month...
"Very exciting stuff, people!!!!!"

- EDGUY Schedules Hometown Gigs
EDGUY frontman Tobias Sammet has issued the following update:
"On February 23rd and 24th, EDGUY will headline two shows at the
Wartenberg Oval in Fulda, Angersbach [Germany]. The special guests will
be announced soon. Get your tickets at www.ticketonline.com
or at the office of Fuldaer Zeitung (phone + 49 661 280644). Tickets
are available for one show only (€20, plus fee) and for both nights
(€30, 26 plus fee). Tickets for both nights are non-transferable.
"During the last twelve months, we've played to well over half
a million people all over the world. We just want to celebrate a successful
tour in our hometown and say 'thank you' to those first fans who've
helped us from day one and made this all possible!!! We're going play
some different songs each night, so we get the chance to play some tracks
we've never played live before.
"Some years ago when we've already sold out places in some parts
of Europe we still struggled in our hometown and therefore tried to
avoid playing that conservative little black spot on the map, because
it seemed like the majority of people didn't care anyway. 'Cause we
were just those stupid kids who couldn't play progressive music. Well,
I still can't, I never wanted, I can count to four and tell stupid jokes,
that's enough to rock and roll... ;-)
"Well, as for lack of support the last tour proved us wrong and
looking back without the grudges we've held at the time, I think there've
always been supporters and friends. Now we'll be back with a special
show and a bang that nobody won't ever forget. Sao Paulo, Tokyo, Mexico
City... Fulda!!! We're back!"
As previously reported, EDGUY filmed a live DVD on November 3 at the
Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil. The band is continuing to
tour in support of its latest album, "Rocket Ride", which
entered the German national album chart at position No. 8 upon its release
in late January 2006. The CD also came in at No. 8 in Sweden, No. 25
in Finland, No. 32 in Hungary, No. 48 in Japan, No. 50 in Switzerland,
No. 50 in Austria, No. 79 in Norway and No. 81 in Italy.

- SHADOWS FALL Frontman: New Album Is 'As Complete A Metal Record As
Possible'
SHADOWS FALL frontman Brian Fair has issued the following update:
"We are back in [Massachusetts]. Just in time for the snow and
cold weather! Perfect timing.
"After six weeks on the West Coast recording the new album 'Threads
of Life' with Nick Raskulinecz [FOO FIGHTERS, STONE SOUR, RUSH] at Studio
606, we have moved the base of operations to Planet Z in western Massachusetts
with Zeuss [STAIND, HATEBREED, UNEARTH] to finish mixing. I am incredibly
excited about the way this record is coming along.
"Nick helped us to push our performances to new heights and experiment
a lot more with vocal harmonies and guitar layers that have really added
new dimensions to these songs. Zeuss is really bringing out the energy
and nuances of the recording and really bringing our sound to a new
level.
"As a producer and mixer, Nick and Zeuss have formed like Voltron
to create a friggin monster! We are going to be mastering soon and hopefully
have this record near completion by the holidays. Sonically, 'Threads
of Life' is a true culmination of all of our common influences as a
band and is the most complete picture of the SHADOWS FALL sound to date.
"We looked at this record as a full album that has a real ebb and
flow throughout, covering a vide variety of emotions and levels of intensity.
There are the full on thrash tunes, just balls-out and metal, some technical
shred tunes that Jon [Donais, guitar] and Jason [Bittner, drums] really
pushed their playing on and some acoustic melodic moments that offer
a nice contrast to the more brutal moments.
"We tried to make 'Threads of Life' as complete a metal record
as possible. The album will hopefully be out early spring of 2007 and
we plan on touring the world for awhile after its release. We are really
looking forward to getting back on the road and hitting all the spots
that we have not been able to reach on the last few tours.
"With all of this time off from performing live, we will be hitting
the stage hard will full strength and a lot of pent up energy!! We hope
to see you all out on the road when SHADOWS FALL comes to town with
new tunes to rock and partying on our mind."
