- TERRORIZER Announce release date for new album “Darker Days
Ahead”
In today’s extreme music scene only a few bands deserve to be
seen as “legendary” and pioneers. Los Angeles’ own
TERRORIZER certainly belong to those that shaped the whole face of the
Grindcore and Death Metal movement. Having released their highly acclaimed
and genre-defining debut album “World Downfall” in 1989
via Earache Records, the band took the scene by storm with an aggression
and ferocity unheard of until then. Consequently, “World Downfall”
achieved to lead this underground outfit to become a cult institution,
despite their prompt disbanding, which saw the musicians on the album
concentrate on their future main bands: Pete Sandoval (drums) with Morbid
Angel and Jesse Pintado (guitars) with Napalm Death.
Creating the “Reign In Blood” of Grindcore with “World
Downfall”, TERRORIZER succeeded in inspiring an entire generation
of bands, letting the act’s popularity never cease throughout
the years to come. The massive amount of available bootleg-recordings
and band merchandise as well as rumours of a follow-up album kept TERRORIZER’s
name well alive.
Now, the day has finally come to turn rumours into an unstoppable reality:
“Darker Days Ahead”, the highly anticipated second official
album will be released on CD and LP on August 21st, 2006 via Century
Media Records!
TERRORIZER – “Darker Days Ahead” CD / LP (39:25)
1. Inevitable [intro] (1:03)
2. Darker Days Ahead (3:46)
3. Crematorium (3:54)
4. Fallout (3:48)
5. Doomed Forever (3:23)
6. Mayhem (3:57)
7. Blind Army (3:06)
8. Nightmare (3:42)
9. Legacy Of Brutality (2:25)
10. Dead Shall Rise V.06 (3:32)
11. Victim Of Greed (4:11)
12. Ghost Train [outro] (2:35)
The eleven newly written tracks as well as the new version of the band’s
classic tune “Dead Shall Rise”, now entitled “Dead
Shall Rise V.06”, were recorded at Juan “Punchy” Gonzalez’
DOW Studios (Morbid Angel, Christian Death, etc.) and resulted in a
more mature, sinister piece of Death/Grind, fuelled with contempt and
a harsh outlook on the status of our present and future world. “Darker
Days Ahead” is trademarked by Jesse Pintado’s and Tony Norman’s
(Morbid Angel, ex-Monstrosity) unmistakably feral sounding guitar tone
and Pete Sandoval’s skin-flaying blast beats. Joined by vocalist
Anthony Rezhawk (Resistant Culture), who renders an outstanding performance
on every level, TERRORIZER unleash a brutal tempest predicting the darkest
of days.

- DIECAST Experience An Internal Revolution; New Album's Release Date
Set
Boston heroes DIECAST surprised the Metal and Hardcore world with their
Century Media Records debut “Tearing Down Your Blue Skies”
in 2004. According to UK’s Metal Hammer the album is "the
sound of metalcore exactly as it should be played and begs for superlative
terms to describe". Since then they toured twice in Europe (w/
Agnostic Front and Napalm Death) and countless times in their home country
US (w/ Hatebreed and many many more).
DIECAST are currently in Miami recording their new album, "Internal
Revolution", with long-time producer Paul Trust. The effort will
be mixed by the acclaimed Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED, Heaven Shall
Burn) at Antfarm Studios in Denmark. This marks the group’s first
effort with an entirely new rhythm section composed of Dennis Pavia
(drums) and Brad Horion (bass). The group will be posting frequent video
clips documenting their studio progress. Click www.bhcdiecast.com
to check out the first (really funny) instalments.
The album release is planned for September 18th in Europe (19th in the
US). So watch out for the “Internal Revolution” across the
world.

- HEAVEN SHALL BURN "Deaf To Our Prayers" out August 28th
August 28th will see the release of "Deaf To Our Prayers",
the long awaited follow-up for HEAVEN SHALL BURNs highly acclaimed album
"Antigone".
"Finally, we are holding the Masters for our new CD 'Deaf To Our
Prayers' in our hands and we are pretty certain that we've recorded
an album that’ll be a more than worthy successor for 'Antigone'",
says guitarist Maik Weichert.
Again, the recording of "Deaf To Our Prayers" was done at
Rape Of Harmonies Studios in beautiful Thüringen. "Patrick
W. Engel and Ralf Müller have added their share another time and
we cannot picture working on an album without them."
For the first time they used Jacob Hansen and his Hansen Studios for
the mix. "We had a great time in Ribe, the oldest city in Denmark
and worked extremely hard on getting the maximum out of the new songs.
Right from the beginning of the writing process we had the vision to
record a raw and direct album. I think 'Deaf To Our Prayers' is a lot
more brutal than 'Antigone' while still having some mid-tempo passages.
Simply 100% HSB!"
As on their previous albums HEAVEN SHALL BURN don’t just have
intense music to offer, but also food for thought. "The title 'Deaf
To Our Prayers' is influenced by a line from a poem by Heinrich Heine
that dealt with the situation of industrial workers from Silesia in
the 19th century. Other songs like 'Of No Avail' or 'The Final March'
were influenced by Gerhard Hauptmann’s drama 'The Weavers'. Especially
the situation of the workers in the 19th century, the so-called Industrial
Revolution, shows oppressive parallels to current developments in our
society that’s highly affected by globalisation."
However, "Deaf To Our Prayers" is also dealing with other
historic aspects. "'Armia' for example is about the hopeless, 64-day
fight that Polish partisans fought against the occupying power in the
battle of Warsaw in August 1944. - Again, we stayed away from topics
such as heartache, problems with parents and 'I'll kill every single
one of you'. We know that there are people out there who want to use
their heads for banging AND thinking - that’s what we are about."

- NEVERMORE frontman Warrel Dane is collaborating with former SOILWORK
guitarist Peter Wichers on material for Dane's first solo album. The
CD is expected to include an appearance by Warrel's former SANCTUARY
(pre-NEVERMORE) bandmate Dave Budbill (currently in ZEROCREEP) on drums.
No information is presently available regarding the album's musical
direction or possible release date.

- UNEXPECT Release
The definitive release date for "In a Flesh Aquarium" is now
officially announced by The End Records. The album shall see the light
in North America on August 22! No other dates have been proclaimed for
the rest of the world, but chaos should spread and find its way out
there in the following weeks.
The Tour with Tub Ring is now reported in September. More information
to come soon…
We're currently busy working on the foundations of another album and
practicing our new live set on the back of a moose for a better understanding
of physical laws whilst playing.
On a somewhat…darker note…we are proud to announce that
we'll be part of the last show ever of the legendary and controversial
Swedish black metal band: Dissection !
The band recently declared their own death and will offer 2 last exclusive
shows in North America : Los Angeles and New York. Being old time fans
of the band, it's an honour for us to participate at the New York event,
on September 6, at the BB King Blues club.
Our new website will be online in August. Completely re-designed, it
should remove from your head this curious idea you've been toying with
since your youth…you know…brushing your teeth with a meteor
and all these astronomy deviances…it's healthier to read book
by instance…or even… buy a large and cumbersome animal.
Also, we want to mention the arrival of the most excellent and eclectic
band Estradasphere into the ranks of The End Records. Welcome.
It's worth the listen I tell you !
…And here is a small reminder to visit and participate in our
official forum…come and take a peek! No taboos…just words….

- ARCH ENEMY release their first DVD, "Live Apocalypse"
They will release their first DVD, Live Apocalypse, on August 8th, which
is chock-full of phenomenal live footage, in-depth interviews and promotional
video clips. The group are currently in the midst of the European festival
season and will make their return to the U.S. late summer in support
of their critically acclaimed new album, Doomsday Machine, which debuted
at #87 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and recently surpassed the 70,000
U.S. SoundScan plateau. They also recently completed a new video for
the track “My Apocalypse” with director Roger Johansson
(In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Soilwork). Click the link below to check
it out.

Mike Amott (guitars) checks in with the following report: "Hail
ARCH ENEMY fans! Just want to drop a few lines and thank everyone who
came out and had fun with ARCH ENEMY at the Sweden Rock and Download
festivals and what a great time it was. After our show at Sweden Rock,
which went surprisingly well with only a few technical problems (standard
procedure at festivals), we had to pack our gear together quickly and
race down the highway to Copenhagen Airport for an evening flight to
the UK to play the Download festival in the early afternoon the next
day. The ARCH ENEMY show there also went well, although much shorter
than what we normally play at festivals - only 30 minutes, we made a
big impact. They told us that we had 40,000 people in the audience when
we played - that’s the biggest show we’ve ever played!
The total capacity at DOWNLOAD was 65,000 and it was sold-out, I watched
the Metallica set from the side of the stage and they opened up with
“Creeping Death” and you gotta love that.
We hung out with friends (seemed like I knew everyone there) and did
a signing session at the KERRANG! tent (amazing) and few of us even
stayed on for the Metal Hammer awards in London on the Monday. After
that we were pretty wrecked and have spent the last few days picking
up the pieces. Basically, we enjoyed perfect summer weather and strong
shows at both performances – a good start to our European festival
summer!
Next up, is Hellfest (France) and Graspop (Belgium) and we are headlining
the 2nd stage at both these festivals and we are prepared to blow these
up – be there or be, well…not metal"

- BEHEMOTH video for “Slaves Shall Serve”
Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH will embark on The Sounds of The
Underground on July 8th and it is definitely the group’s biggest
U.S. touring opportunity yet. They recently wrapped up a highly successful
run on the Masters of Chaos tour this past spring as direct support
to Morbid Angel. The tour also included labelmates Krisiun and Despised
Icon in the support slots. This was the first U.S. run in which BEHEMOTH
had the opportunity to play an extended 45-minute set and it was also
their fourth nationwide U.S. trek in support of their critically-acclaimed
record, Demigod. The stunning video for “Slaves Shall Serve”
quickly caught people's attention with its intense and controversial
imagery. Check it out at the link below.

Nergal (vocals, guitars) further describes his excitement over the upcoming
SOTU tour: “This tour is definitely a huge opportunity for us
and we are very honored to be a part of The Sounds of The Underground
this year. This is the perfect chance for us to have our brand of extreme
music heard by crowds that would not normally seek out bands like us.
We feel that we are at the top of our game and promise to deliver our
most devastating performances yet. We look forward to seeing you all
soon.”

- BRAND NEW SIN Team with WWE Work on New Disc
The Syracuse-based quintet - whose self-titled 2002 debut was reissued
last month -recently recorded a new version of the entrance theme music
for the 7-foot, 500-pound ECW wrestler known as Big Show, who recently
"defected" from WWE's Raw roster. The theme, "Crank It
Up," was first heard on the new compilation CD WWE: Wreckless Intent,
which three weeks ago debuted at #8 on the Billboard charts. "Crank
It Up" made its broadcast debut June 11 on ECW's "One Night
Stand" pay-per-view.
Last week, BRAND NEW SIN took a break from recording its third album
in Brooklyn, N.Y. with producer Joey Z (Life of Agony) to visit WWE's
studios in Stamford, Conn. There, the band - under the watchful eye
of WWE music guru Jim Johnston - recorded an acoustic version of "Crank
It Up," which will soon be posted as an exclusive streaming download
on WWE.com. Additionally, BRAND NEW SIN appeared alongside WWE wrestler
Carlito at a Wreckless Intent in-store signing session last Sunday at
a Best Buy in their hometown of Syracuse.
After playing two shows later this week - one alongside Seemless, the
other at an annual festival in upstate New York called "Nikstock"
– the band will return to New York City next week to master their
as-yet-untitled new album with George Marino (Metallica, AC/DC, Guns
N' Roses, Aerosmith, Kiss) at Sterling Sound. A fall release is expected.

- EYES OF FIRE Return from Tour
The dynamic Orange County-based quintet EYES OF FIRE recently completed
the “One Nation Undivided” tour with Ill Nino, God Forbid,
Silent Civilian and Bleed The Sky. The Jagermeister-sponsored, 28-city
major market assault, was the group’s first major national run
in support of their critically acclaimed new album, Prisons, which was
recorded at Grandmaster Recorders (Tool, NIN) with renowned producer
Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis). A video for the track “It All Dies
Today” was shot by acclaimed director Gary Smithson (Exodus, High
On Fire) and click the link below to check it out.

Matt Fisher (vocals, bass) checks in with the post-tour report: “Our
new video for ‘It All Dies Today’ is this week’s Bang
of the Week on Headbangers Ball. The video is also on the HBB main page
and can be viewed at www.mtv2.com/#series/10896
or launch the our E-card at
www.myspace.com/eyesoffire1
Also, it seems that EYES OF FIRE was also the 3rd most requested song
on the Music Choice Cable Metal channel. We are very excited about this
and hope to keep the momentum going with more touring in the near future.
We just finished the "One Nation Undivided" tour with Ill
Nino and God Forbid, Silent Civilian and Bleed the Sky. This was an
extremely fun tour and we would like to thank all the bands, crew, staff
and especially the friends and supporters across the nation who made
this tour happen! It was an alchoholocaust to say the least. EYES OF
FIRE are working hard to get back out on the road immediately and hope
to stay out through the rest of the year. See you all soon.”
Prisons further develops the sound introduced on EYES OF FIRE’s
debut offering, Ashes To Embers, which lashed out with a barrage of
intensity, leaving the listener victim to a sonic pummeling, while still
walking a fine line between melody and brutality. The album stunned
critics and fans alike. The group succeeds in areas where most bands
today don’t even bother venturing: songwriting, hooks and emotion,
drawing similarities to such cult icons as Anathema, Katatonia and Neurosis.

- GOD FORBID Wrapped Up Tour
They also recently wrapped up “The One Nation Undivided”
U.S. tour as direct support to Ill Nino in support of IV: Constitution
of Treason. The group’s stunning, emotional video for the track
“To The Fallen Hero” can also currently be viewed at AOLmusic.com,
Music Choice On Demand, MySpace and Yahoo Music, or you can also check

the acclaimed director Shane Drake (Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights),
is the group’s most ambitious concept yet and will easily catch
your attention and set itself apart from the pack.

GOD FORBID’s critically acclaimed new album, IV: Constitution
of Treason, entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at #119 in its first
week of release, and it's the first time the group has ever appeared
in the Top 200 charts. Produced by Jason Suecof (Trivium) and Eric Rachel
(Atreyu, Dillinger Escape Plan), the album -- a socially and politically
charged vision of a post-apocalyptic world -- further displays the incredible
creativity and talent of one of the most highly-respected bands in metal
today.

- LACUNA COIL SoundScanned over 100,000 units
LACUNA COIL will make their much-anticipated return to the U.S. on June
29th as part of this year’s Ozzfest main stage lineup. The massive
summer trek will also coincide with the release of the new single “Enjoy
The Silence,” which will impact commercial radio on July 11th.
The video for the track, completed by the directorial team Fort Awesome,
who also shot the group’s acclaimed “Our Truth” clip,
will make its Fuse and MTV2 debut the same week the track hits radio.
Since its release, LACUNA COIL’s new album, Karmacode, has SoundScanned
over 100,000 units and spent a total of eight weeks on the Billboard
Top 200 chart. The album’s success can be partly contributed to
the strength of its lead-off single, “Our Truth,” and stellar
live performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which took place last month.
The track was added by over 75 Commercial Rock and Alternative Radio
outlets (and played by well over 125 Commercial Outlets), becoming a
Top 30 Active Rock single while spending over 2 1/2 months on the Top
40 Active Rock Radio Chart and reaching a monitored Arbitron audience
of over 11 million listeners.
LACUNA COIL have also scheduled a number of high profile off-dates this
summer with the likes of Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed, among others.
Their complete touring itinerary is below.
Andrea Ferro (male vocals) checks in with the following report: “Hi
everyone, just checkin’ in from home. We are almost done with
our round of European festivals, and it’s really been a blast!
Some shows, we played in front of some of the biggest crowds we’ve
ever seen, and with so many of our favorite bands. The summer is finally
kickin’ in and things are looking great for us since we will be
performing on the main stage of Ozzfest this year. I clearly remember
what happened in 2004 when this new band from Italy first had the pleasure
of taking part in this mythical event. We couldn’t believe we
were really going to spend the summer playing in the U.S. in front of
so many people each day while being able to hang out with all those
icons. It really was a dream come true! To be back this year on the
main stage is once again something very unexpected and a true honor
for us. We hope to see ya all there ready to jump and sing along with
the new songs. See you all very soon.”
LACUNA COIL and Music Choice, the leading multi-platform music network,
have joined forces to bring you exclusive material that no hard rock/metal
fan will want to miss. An amazing live version of their hit single "Our
Truth" is currently available throughout the month of June on Music
Choice On-Demand, the most-popular free video-on-demand music service
available in millions of digital cable homes nationwide.

- MAROON Album Out Now
The German powerhouse quintet MAROON have just released their highly
anticipated new album, When Worlds Collide, to rave reviews. The band
added a whole new dimension and depth to the watered down metalcore
scene and quickly became one of Europe’s most crushing live acts.
It’s ironic that their buzz never made its way over to the U.S.,
as they helped pioneer the genre that has been thriving in North American
for the past few years. Prepare yourself for the punishment that is
about to ensue.
Taking hardcore ethics to a whole new level, MAROON are quickly outplaying
and outlasting their contemporaries around the globe. Formed in early
1998, the vegan, straightedge five-piece is clearly showing their dedication
and no signs of slowing down. Their unique sound offers a heavyweight
mix of brutal hardcore molded with metal riffs, which infuses strong
and effective melodic elements. Their major influences are primarily
drawn from straightedge bands like Earth Crisis, while still remaining
true to their passion for old-school visionaries like At The Gates,
The Haunted and Iron Maiden.
Andre Moraweck (vocals) further describes the band’s excitement
over the new deal: “Hey everybody we are very excited to release
our new album, When Worlds Collide, and this effort is the next logical
step for us as a band. It’s definitely our most aggressive offering
yet. We hope that all the fans in the U.S. join the army of darkness
and make this album’s campaign a great one.
"This album is just plain brutal and features more classic metal
influences. The disc also features guest appearances by Barney Greenway
(vocals) of Napalm Death, Roger Miret (vocals) of Agnostic Front and
Mikkel Sandager (vocals) of Mercenary. Our main goal this summer is
to extensively tour the U.S., so keep an eye out for the new album and
upcoming shows in your area. We hope to see you all very soon."
The band's 2004 sophomore release, Endorsed By Hate, was a stunning
portrayal of passion and anger that caught the underground metal scene
by storm, but with When Worlds Collide the group are now out to prove
that they are one of the genre’s elite.

In Hell” and prepare yourself for the barrage of aggression.

unfolds upon the gloomy Finnish landscape, which is sure to haunt the
soul with its somber and melancholic composite. This abundance of sorrow
is better known as Poisonblack, who features ex-Sentenced frontman Ville
Laihiala on lead vocals and guitars. The group has returned with their
highly anticipated sophomore release, Lust Stained Despair, which is
a voracious hard rock assault laden with mesmerizing gothic overtones.
Poisonblack was formed towards the end of 2000 as Laihiala felt the
urge to pursue his ambition as a guitarist after playing the instrument
on the side for 17 years. This all began to take shape after he got
together with a couple of talented, close friends with whom he had jammed
in various bands before, among them his soulbrother Janne Kukkonen on
bass. Both of them not only shared a long history in various bands,
but also embrace the same musical vision. J.P. Leppäluoto (Charon)
was soon enlisted to handle vocal duties after Laihiala met him back
on their Crimson tour and knew his vocal style was a perfect fit for
this new project. They released their debut album, Escapexstacy, in
early 2003 to rave reviews, but the band’s touring would be close
to nonexistent due to member’s obligations to their main bands.
Now with Sentenced put to rest Laihiala’s main priority is Poisonblack
and in early 2006 they entered Tonebox Studios in their hometown to
begin work on their next epic. The effort was mixed and mastered at
Antfarm Studios by the acclaimed Tue Madsen (Himsa, The Haunted) and
is definitely a must for Amorphis, HIM and Katatonia fans. With a more
focused lineup in place the group are poised to deliver a release that
should add a glimmer of hope to an otherwise bleak world.
Lust Stained Despair is set for an August 22nd release.

- STRAPPING YOUNG LAD Ozzfest Off-dates
These Canadian extremists have just announced a slew of major Ozzfest
off-dates with such heralded acts as Hatebreed and Unearth, among others.
Be sure to scroll down to view their complete summer touring itinerary.
The group have triumphantly returned with The New Black, a stunningly
well-defined and more diverse effort that is soon to be a landmark in
the epic pantheon of heavy metal. The much anticipated new album is
set for a July 11th release and the group, led by singer, songwriter
and producer Devin Townsend, have redefined their sound, creating what
is soon to be the definitive offering of their already stellar career.
SYL recently completed a new video for the track “Wrong Side”
with renowned director David Brodsky (God Forbid, The Red Chord). Look
for the clip to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut early next month.

The album’s U.S. touring campaign kicks off on June 29th when
SYL hits the second stage at Ozzfest, alongside such acclaimed acts
as Atreyu, Bleeding Through and Unearth, among others. Townsend further
describes his excitement over being a part of Ozzfest and sheds some
light on their new disc: “We were very inspired with the idea
of doing Ozzfest, and the concept we are running with on this record
is really based around abhorring the current music scene, yet being
a part of it in some weird way. SYL is ready to be a subversive product
for the unwitting 14-year-olds to scream along with. We also intend
to sprinkle a little ugly around all the pretty bands this year. You
can think of us as the proverbial pubic hair in the cheesecake of this
year’s festival. See you all soon.”
Century Media Records also just re-released STRAPPING YOUNG LAD’s
1995 debut album, Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing, which changed the metal
world forever. The re-issue features a re-mastered version of this classic
debut, 4 bonus tracks, the “S.Y.L.” video and a 12-page
booklet with extended liner notes from Devin himself.
In 2006, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD will leave their definitive mark on the
genre, leaving their contemporaries wondering how they could ever possibly
compete.
- THE HAUNTED New Record
Swedish thrash titans THE HAUNTED have just completed the recording
process for the highly anticipated follow-up to 2004’s critically
acclaimed rEVOLVEr album. The new effort was recorded in Denmark at
Antfarm Studios with renowned producer Tue Madsen (Himsa, Kataklysm)
and it looks to be their most accomplished work to date. The group spent
months working on the new material pushing themselves to create something
unique that combines certain elements of their previous efforts, while
ultimately forging ahead in new, unexplored directions. An announcement
in regards to the title of the new album and its release date will follow
over the next few weeks.
Peter Dolving (vocals) checks in with the following post studio report:
"Oh, the power of the internet and wireless computers. I'm currently
sitting on the john writing this report thinking about all you good
folks out there, while my kids are watching cartoons in the living room.
We just finished a new album and I gotta say, I'm proud as fuck. It's
bigger, better, madder and thicker. Hell, that's the weird part with
the album business - how the hell to describe what you've just done.
Anyway, it rocks. Big time. Really. Per (drums) told me at rehearsals
a couple of days ago, ‘If I died tomorrow I couldn't be more satisfied
so if people don't like it, fuck them.’ I couldn't agree more.
We started writing around Ozzfest last year, bouncing around ideas,
recording anything that came to mind without the old ‘more or
less metal’-filter, and pretty much knew that we were sick of
the whole 900 bpm-chugga-chugga-AAARRRGGGGH-PUKE-end. We wanted to do
something we'd just touched upon with our previous four albums. This
album is simply more diverse, dynamic and HEAVY AS FUCK. Bands like
Trouble, Autopsy, Ganx, Masters Of The Universe, King Crimson and early
Metallica have all really had a great influence on us as a band, and
I think this album really draws a lot in color from those artists.
“We just completed the recording process and are now putting the
artwork together with Manne Andreasson, a bearded wierdo and dear friend
or ours. Working with Tue Madsen's been great. The dude is down-to-earth
man, and working with someone who's got his shit together like that
is a joy. Anders spent six weeks in Denmark getting guitars down while
working with Per and Jonas and then helping me out while I was doing
vocals. Before we started recording, he was telling us he didn't want
to do ANY solos on this record, but in the end we got him to do four
really cool pieces. I think we've managed to find an immense sound:
the drums are clearer, heavier and less processed, and we've even got
acoustic guitars, congas, strings and loads of weird noise manipulations
going on. As far as the vocals go, I honestly didn't know I could even
sing some of the stuff. I was nervous as fuck when I got down to Tue's
studio, and felt like a complete rookie: ‘Shit, how the hell am
I going to live up to this.’ Turns out all I had to do was keep
running my miles and warm up like when we're on tour. You can look forward
to an album we're proud as fuck of, and we're looking forward to seeing
you all again as soon as we head out for tour. It'll be ugly as ever,
I'm sure. Stay sick.”

- LIQUOR AND POKER MUSIC: THE NEW ‘FU’ FIGHTERS
Legendary Orange County hard rockers FU MANCHU to release tenth album
early next year
LOS ANGELES – After nine albums, countless world tours and more
than a dozen years of leading their scene, FU MANCHU – perhaps
the definitive Southern California hard rock band of the last decade
– have signed a worldwide recording agreement with The Century
Family. Their tenth, as-yet-untitled album will surface in early 2007
on Liquor and Poker Music in America and on Century Media Records in
Europe. An Asian release will be confirmed in the coming months.
“FU MANCHU is one of the most influential rock groups of recent
times,” says Marco Barbieri, president of The Century Family and
Liquor and Poker Music’s “high roller.” “We’re
proud and excited to welcome the band to our roster, and we look forward
to being part of a new chapter of their impressive history.”
Founded by guitarist/vocalist Scott Hill, FU MANCHU debuted their ‘70s-inspired
fuzz rock on 1994’s acclaimed No One Rides For Free. Over the
next decade, the group received extensive international acclaim for
such landmark albums as 1996’s In Search Of…, the following
year’s The Action Is Go, 2000’s King of the Road (hailed
by Rolling Stone as “the ultimate desert-rock car album”)
and California Crossing (2001).
Most recently, the group released Start The Machine in 2004. Supported
by a nationwide tour with Corrosion of Conformity, the album was praised
by All Music Guide as proof that “FU MANCHU have actually improved
with age: They first stood out simply as one of the first groups to
do what they do, and now deservingly stand out as one of the best at
what they do.”
The band – which for the last four-plus years has featured Hill,
drummer Scott Reeder (ex-Smile) and longtime members Bob Balch (guitars)
and Brad Davis (bass) – also has several famous alumni: Nebula
mainstays Eddie Glass and Ruben Romano, as well as former Kyuss/Queens
of the Stone Age drummer Brant Bjork.
FU MANCHU will track their new album at Hollywood’s Grandmaster
Recorders studios (Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Black Crowes) – where
they also recorded In Search Of… and The Action Is Go –
with co-producer Andrew Alekel (Weezer, Rancid, Queens of the Stone
Age). The band plans to record 13 new songs and, in classic FU fashion,
three cover songs: The Cars’ “Moving In Stereo,” Void’s
“Who Are You” and Van Halen’s “D.O.A.”
“We are excited to be working with Liquor and Poker and the entire
Century Family,” Hill says. “We feel that they really understand
rock bands like us. Our new record is heavier, thicker, fuzzier and
more aggressive than anything that we've done for a while. We can’t
wait to get this record out and then hit the road to play these songs
live. We can only turn up so much at practice, but these songs are meant
to be played loud!”
Although recording will take precedence for the immediate future, FU
MANCHU will perform live periodically throughout the rest of 2006 and
kick off a full world tour early next year.
Launched in 2003, Liquor and Poker Music is the “rock” imprint
of the Century Family’s flagship label, Century Media Records.
With a roster featuring such celebrated acts as Fireball Ministry and
Nebula, and with a catalog of two dozen acclaimed releases by the likes
of The Hellacopters, Hanoi Rocks and Backyard Babies, the label –
part Cold Gin and part Ace of Spades – is actively seeking to
develop the next generation of rock stars.

record with the albums compositions surely among the best of the bands
decade-plus long career. The songs are memorable with hooks and amazing

- EPIC RECORDS RE-TEAMS WITH MARK BURNETT PRODUCTIONS FOR "ROCK
STAR: SUPERNOVA"
HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW SEASON FEATURING EX-MEMBERS OF METALLICA, GUNS
N' ROSES & MOTLEY CRUE
TO LAUNCH JULY 5
ALBUM SCHEDULED FOR A FALL RELEASE
New York, NY - Epic Records and Mark Burnett Productions have re-teamed
for "Rock Star: Supernova," the highly anticipated second
season of the hit CBS reality series.
The ambitious show, executive-produced by Mark Burnett, follows SUPERNOVA,
an all-star band featuring famed Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, ex-Guns
N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, and former Metallica bassist Jason
Newsted on their quest to find a lead singer. Supernova's Epic debut,
tentatively scheduled for a fall release, will feature the winner of
the competition. The highly anticipated album will be produced by Butch
Walker (Avril Lavigne, Bowling For Soup, Pink).
"Now more than ever, TV is the new radio," says Charlie Walk,
President of Epic Records. "And with the launch of Supernova through
Mark Burnett's incredible vision, the stage is set for Tommy Lee, Gilby
Clarke and Jason Newsted to truly make their mark on pop culture. I
can't wait to see the outcome."
"I'm thrilled to be working with Epic Records again," says
Burnett. "Supernova has been in the studio with Butch Walker every
day creating an amazing new sound for their debut album. With the power
of the television show behind them, helping to find the greatest unsigned
talent on the planet to front their band, the sky is the limit for this
album's success."
After an exhaustive search for contestants that spanned 25,000 entrants,
22 cities and 6 continents, "Rock Star: Supernova" will debut
on CBS Wednesday, July 5th at 8PM EST with 15 rock vocalists vying for
the gig of a lifetime. The 13 weeks that follow will see Lee, Clarke,
Newsted and special guests assessing the candidates in everything from
songwriting to live performance. The winner will record an album with
the group and embark on a worldwide tour.
Adds Tommy Lee, "What do you get when three members from the biggest
rock bands in the world search the globe for the ultimate singer? We
all know the answer! All I can say is bring your helmets kids!"
"Rock Star: Supernova" will air twice a week, with the two-hour
finale scheduled for Wednesday, September 27th.
"Rock Star: Supernova" follows the 2005 summer smash "Rock
Star: INXS," in which Canadian native J.D. Fortune beat out a cast
of hopefuls to become the new lead singer of multi-platinum rock band
INXS. Fortune and INXS went out to record their Epic debut, launched
a sold-out worldwide tour and released two hit singles.
- NAPALM DEATH: Report in from studio, online Smear Campaign video preview!
UK’s godfathers of Grindcore have finished recording Smear Campaign,
their highly anticipated follow-up to last year’s The Code Is
Red…Long Live The Code. A preview on the album fresh from the
can be streamed here.
Reporting on the Foel Studios recording sessions, vocalist Barney Greenway
said, "We just spent a few weeks again in the studio in Wales where
we recorded The Code..., which was obviously such a good experience
that we decided to return. Whilst we were not trying to compete with
Code..., or make the same album again, it has to be said that Smear
Campaign sounds twice as immense. We didn’t fuck around getting
the songs together but somehow Smear Campaign seems to come across as
a more in-depth experience.
“It was very cool that Anneke from The Gathering offered to sing
on the album. It’s really funny, because we never would have thought
about having guest vocals before the The Code... but every vocalist
worked well with the song they contributed to. Anneke´s style
is clearly very different to that of, for example, Jello Biafra but
what she does totally enhances the experience. It sounds pretty spooky.
“Lyrics: I guess people know about the album title now but to
give a brief explanation the general thread is actually a question asking
why exactly we need religion to give us a basis on how to run our lives.
Can we not be trusted as human beings to make our own decisions? This
applies in my eyes to everything from Christianity to Paganism to Satanism.
Surely the world would be more peaceful without religious restrictions
and all this false morality!”
Some song titles we can already reveal are: “Rabid Wolves (For
Christ)”, “In Deference”, “Atheist Runt”,
“When All Is Said and Done”, “Sink Fast, Let Go”,
“Shattered Existence”, “Fatalist”, and “Call
That An Option?” Set for release via Century Media Records, NAPALM
DEATH’s Smear Campaign’s European release is slated for
September 18 and September 19 in North America. Having completed the
new album, NAPALM DEATH will be hitting some European summer festivals
delivering a dose of utter violent grindcore intensity onstage! For
more information please contact me directly.

is prepared to return to the metal fold with Kiss of Death. Coming out
August 29th on Sanctuary Records, Kiss of Death does not disappoint.

have sung the praises of Lemmy Kilmister and crew. Kiss of Death promises
to continue the Motörhead legacy of fast, hard and incredibly loud
music.

Synopsis:
Vermiculatus is Scald's most experimental, innovative and un-commercial
project to date. The work consists of a singular album length instrumental
track, the first section of which is performed by the band and is a
complex composition of no repeated parts, followed by the closing section,
which is an ambient reconstruction of the performance part. This is
accompanied on the CD-rom track by a short animated film (Vermiculatus
B1) with a further reconstructed soundtrack, an integral facet to the
work and concept as a whole.Scald are not known for being free with
explanations behind their concepts but it can be stated that the on-going
conceptual, metaphorical representations of the parasitic worm as psychological
states has been further evolved from the ‘Nematoid' & ‘Headworm'
material. Without the use of words or human voice these emotional and
neurological conditions must be conveyed through the aural and visual
stimulus of the Vermiculatus whole. It is not necessary to understand,
only to be aware.

- CLASSIC 'VENOM' RE-ISSUE & TOURDATES ANNOUNCED!
VENOM 'CAST IN STONE' expanded edition out via Sanctuary Records July,
18th 2006.
"7 Days of Hell" North American tour confirmed for August,
2006.
Originally released in December 1997, Cast In Stone also became known
as the reunion album as the original line-up of Cronos, Mantas and Abaddon
put the past behind them to once again grasp black metal by the barbs.
This edition of the album has been completely remastered by Cronos,
who also presides over the entire artistic direction. As per the original
release, a bonus disc of classic re-recorded Venom tracks is retained
but this time a further five tracks from the rare Venom ’96 mini
album, recorded as a limited edition release for the band’s Dynamo
Festival headline to 90,000 fans, are added.
The original founders of the movement that became known as Black Metal,
Venom’s influence is felt far and wide throughout the world of
heavy metal, molding and informing bands both old and new. March 2006
saw the opening of a completely fresh chapter in the Venom tale with

- NIGHTRAGE sign to Lifeforce Records
Lifeforce Records is proud to announce the signing of swedish/ greek
melodic death metal outfit NIGHTRAGE to its growing roster.
Lifeforce Records president Stefan Luedicke about the signing
"I'm very happy about the signing of NIGHTRAGE, a band I've been
a fan of since their first release "Sweet Vengeance" on Century
Media, but I'm sure their Lifeforce Records debut will easily kill their
previous releases."
Marios Ilipoulos, guitarist/ song-writer speaking on behalf of NIGHTRAGE:
"We are proud about the signing with Lifeforce Records, this is
really exciting for us and we feel that we will continue deliver our
craft through a really nice partner like Lifeforce Records, who are
into the music we are doing and together we can achieve really great
things.
The band was originally formed in Greece back in the year 2000 by guitarist
and mastermind Marios Iliopoulos, ex - Exhumation (who released three
high quality Death Metal albums before, all produced in Sweden) and
his friend Gus G. (known for his acclaimed performances with CMR shooting
stars Dream Evil as well as Firewind and Mystic Prophecy). NIGHTRAGE
released two albums on Century Media Records, "Sweet Vengeance"
(2003) and "Descent Into Chaos" (2005) before they parted
ways with vocalist Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates, Disfear, The Crown)
and Jimmie Strimell joined the band on vocal duties.
NIGHTRAGE will record their yet untitled Lifeforce Records debut later
this year at Studio Fredman and the album will be released in early

After successful performances in Czech Republic and Slovakia, Polish
experimental dark metallers STROMMOUSSHELD have entered SH Studio in
Poland to begin recording their long-awaited new full-length album.
"We've been waiting almost two years to finish the concept of the
new album," the band write in a statement. "The story is focused
around mental individuals vs. fanatic ideologies, permutations, organic
connections and astrophysic rules. Expect complex riff structures, cold
psychodelic industrial spaces, blur orchestrations, hypnotic drums and
mesmeric vocals..."
STROMMOUSSHELD issued their most recent EP, "Halfdecadance",
in 2004 via Metal Mind Productions and the debut album "Behind
the Curtain" in 2003 via Avantgarde Music .

- OBITUARY To Play Gig In Warsaw, Poland
Metal Mind Productions is proud to announce that on 24th August one
of the best Death Metal bands - Obituary - will play a one of gig in
Stodola Club in Warsaw, Poland. This special concert will be recorded
for the future release - their first official DVD! Obituary will come
to Poland as part of European Summer tour that started on 10th June
at Sweden Rock Festival. At gig in Warsaw Obituary will be supported
by 3 excellent bands: Grave (Sweden), Sinister (The Netherlands) and
Catamenia (Finland) whose shows will also be recorded for the DVD releases.
OBITUARY was born in 1984 in Florida US as a Xecutioner. After changing
their name to Obituary, the career of one of the most successful and
influential Death Metal bands began. In 1989 they recorded phenomenal
debut album - "Slowly We Rot" (1989). Obituary was unlike
anything anyone had heard before. In 1997 they released their 5th album
"Back From The Dead" and then made a long time break&..
They've returned on the Death Metal stage in July 2005 with a great
album "Frozen In Time".
GRAVE is one of the longest-running Swedish death metal bands, that
has created a sound and style which has been an inspiration on a number
of the genre's more promising younger outfits. The group's legendary
1991 debut, Into The Grave, quickly established the quartet as one of
death metal's most brutal hopefuls, a title the act has cemented through
a decade's worth of albums and tours with some of the biggest metal
bands in the world, including Death, Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel.
Their new album "As Rapture Comes" is scheduled for release
in July.
SINISTER - one of the most interesting Dutch bands on a Death Metal
scene. There debut album "Cross the Styx" saw the light
in early 1992, and sold many copies worldwide. Touring with bands like
Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide increased the number of people
knowing Sinister. Assembled in 1988 and disbanded in 2004, they have
reformed in 2005 to record their newest album "Afterburner"
which they promote on current tour.
CATAMENIA, formed in 1995, is surely one of the most catchy and "commercial"
bands in the Black/Nordic-Metal style and therefore also finds their
fans outside their genre. Catamenia combine the coldness of Black Metal
with pure metal-guitar riffs and almost ballades melodies. Their forthcoming
album "Location:COLD" will be released on 25th of August 2006

- DAWNBRINGER Finishes Album, Song Available Online
Ten years after the release of its debut EP, 'Sacrament', the Pennsylvania-based
metal obscurity DAWNBRINGER has completed its third full-length album.
Entitled 'In Sickness and In Dreams', the album is scheduled for a July
release via Battle Kommand Records. An MP3 of the song "There
and Back" is available at this location: Click
Here.
The new album is said to be a culmination of the wild and unconventional
metal style found on the band's previous releases, combining a taste
for modern speed with the melodic aspects of early US and British metal.
The album was written and produced by Chris Black (also a member of
PHARAOH and SUPERCHRIST), who also handled the drums, bass, vocals,
and keyboards during the recordings.
Joining "Professor" Black on the album are longtime DAWNBRINGER
guitarist Scott Hoffman and, as a special guest, PHARAOH guitarist Matt
Johnsen. The album's confronting cover was photographed by Chicago-based
fashion/fetish photographer Caesar Cole.
'In Sickness and In Dreams' ends a five-year silence since the previous
DAWNBRINGER album ('Catharsis Instinct') and promises to cement the
group's status as the preferred alternative to a saturated "extreme
metal" underground.
'In Sickness and In Dreams' final tracklist:
1. Scream and Run
2. Anomie
3. Hell is a Desert
4. There and Back
5. Under No Flag
6. You Get Nothing
7. 11:58
8. Midnight
9. Attack of the Spiders
10. The Snitch
11. End of Earth
12. Death in Time
13. Endless Guilt

- HATESPHERE - The Sickness Within
US Release Date: September 12, 2006
Hatesphere; the prolific five-piece who in their current unbeatable
lineup of Jacob Bredahl (v), Peter Lyse Hansen (g), Mikael Ehlert (b),
Henrik Bastrup Jacobsen (g) and Drummer Anders Gyldenøhr are
shaking the walls of the world. Since 2001 this leading Death Thrash
quintet from the quiet town of Aarhus, Denmark has been throwing right-hooks
to the jaw of the international metal community. From their self-titled
debut to the recent release of THE KILLING EP (2005), a twisted little
teaser for their SPV debut, Hatesphere have been stunning metal fans
and critics worldwide. Chris Akin, host of The Metal Show on Cleveland’s
Xtreme Radio exclaims, “This band demands your attention. If you
aren’t giving it to them yet, then I question how “metal”
you really are.”
This five-pronged jackhammer of Thrash and Death Metal ferocity is about
to unleash another attack. The new masterpiece from Hatesphere, THE
SICKNESS WITHIN, delivers a festival of hate that cracks the foundations
from the first moment. THE KILLING EP was a harbinger of the evil tones
to come. “We love this kind of music. It’s as simple as
that”, says singer Bredahl. “But in saying that, there always
has to be a balance between heavy, insanity and melody.”
This self-inflicted goal has definitely been met with THE SICKNESS WITHIN.
The band’s influences, ranging from old-school Thrash, Hardcore,
Rock and Death Metal, all the way to merciless technical Brutal Death
Metal á la Suffocation can all be found on THE SICKNESS WITHIN.
Album number four for the Danes is definitely the most multi-faceted
thrashfest of their career! This deadly mixture that has come to be
known as the Hatesphere signature sound has not only made its way through
headbanging fan-circles, but many of their metal colleagues also hold
them in high regard. In fact, Nevermore guitarist Steve Smyth was so
taken by their music, not to mention their energy-loaded live performances
that he offered to throw in a killer solo for the album’s closer
‘Marked By Darkness’. THE SICKNESS WITHIN is hailing fast
skull-crushers from start to finish. “The White Fever”,
“Heaven’s Ready to Fall”, “Murderous Intent”
“The Coming of Chaos”… all are absolutely punishing.
There is no doubt that THE SICKNESS WITHIN holds true to the band’s
style and tradition. Hatesphere have always pushed the envelope instead
of copying themselves or totally stepping back from their songwriting.
It’s the songs, and their ability to evolve and improve that have
pushed the group to become the metal beast they are now.
The message is simple. To be free from the disease of mediocrity you
need only experience THE SICKNESS WITHIN.

- NIGHTWISH charts
The live DVD slips perfectly into gear as expected. Only one week after
the release, the DVD already reached gold status in Germany and left
superstars like Pink, Ronan Keating and Scooter behind. Even Madonna
who also released a Live DVD two weeks after Nightwish had no chance!
NIGHTWISH entered the german album charts at #3 and was several weeks
at #1 of the DVD charts at the same time. In Austria the DVD was also
a long time on #2. The live DVD of Pink, which was released the same
week, only entered at #32. Last week the NIGHTWISH DVD pushed back the
Pink DVD to #4 in Austria.
For comparison only: Madonna entered the german album charts at #8.
No chart entry for Madonna in Austria by the way. Scooter also released
their new live DVD the same day. They had to live with #29. The new
album of Ronan Keating only achieved #7.
The NIGHTWISH chart pathway up to now: #2, #17, #22, #25
As seen in the daily trendcharts, the NIGHTWISH will also be in the
Top 30 next week: #24, #29, #26,#29, #25
Also from Switzerland, we only have good news: #18, #31, #41, #30. This
means that NIGHTWISH even climbed up again last week!

- Death Metal Trio WARFACE Release Debut Album
Insanity of the Obsessed on Deathquake Records August 15th
Deathquake Records is proud to present Death Metal Trio WARFACE and
their full-length debut Insanity of the Obsessed. Hailing from San Diego,
CA the trio is comprised of Laura Christine (Lead guitar), Dave Smith
(vocals/bass) and Scott Ellis (drums).
Insanity of the Obsessed is a follow up to their self-titled EP Warface,
which was released in 2001. Their previous release achieved them critical
acclaim in the underground. Metal Maniacs Magazine praised WARFACE as
“A little piece of all the major players that defined death metal
is packed into one little three-piece [Warface]."
Since the release of their EP, WARFACE has grown and developed its unique
style and chemistry giving fans music that they can really sink their
teeth into. When Deathquake Records came knocking, they recognized the
brutal metal music this band created and signed the Death Metal trio
immediately. After signing the band was sent straight to the studio
to work with world-class engineer/producer Alan Sanderson (SYSTEM OF
A DOWN, SLAYER, ROLLING STONES, JOHNNY CASH,).
Insanity of the Obsessed blends complex yet catchy moody-melodies with
low brow pounding grooves that hook. This style of writing makes the
songs memorable and sticks in the listener’s head and soul.
One other unique dynamic of this extreme metal band is their female
lead guitarist Laura Christine. The extreme metal genre has yet to see
a female out front handling all rhythm and lead guitar duties single
handedly as well as writing and producing. Metal Curse Magazine declared
that “Warface is something that you don’t see every day:
Brutal Death Metal with not only a female guitarist, but in fact a female
guitar hero!"
WARFACE is not trying to reinvent metal, but simply carry on the tradition
of bringing quality metal music to the masses. Insanity of the Obsessed
was written and performed to honor the great legends before them. Insanity
of the Obsessed will be available in stores and the web August 15th,
2006.

FOR SALE IN NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA ONLY! The euro edition of the CD

"Faustian Dream" inhabits the same sort of darkness, its musical
approach is a little different. Lush guitar work, gothic melodies and
deep, delicious male vox combine for music that is truly moody and dark
and utterly listenable thanks to the beauty of the songwriting. Besides
the songwriting, the production is also sweet. Intelligence and gorgeous
aural manifestations make this one of the year's watchworthy metal albums.

- MOONSPELL HEADLINE 'NOCTURNAL MOURNING' TOUR
MOONSPELL, Portugal's #1 heavy metal export are preparing to embark
on their first headlining tour in five years. Vocalist Fernando Ribeiro
fondly recalls, " Last time we headlined was late 2001, after the
release of 'Darkness and Hope'. The support band was Lacuna Coil on
their very first American experience. We can't wait to get back to play
our own show and to underline the great ties we built in all of our
tours there with our small but very dedicated fan basis. Memorial is
intense live and we want our American shows to follow up what we have
been doing in Europe so far."
This is the first American tour for MOONSPELL in support of "Memorial",
the band's latest release which was hailed by Decibel magazine as "by
far the strongest and heaviest album Moonspell have made since Sin/Pecado".
Metal Maniacs deemed 'Memorial' "full of powerful songs" and
Outburn simply calls it "stunning". This time around fans
can expect "better and bigger production. We are finally bringing
our light team with us. We will have the full strength of 'Memorial',
the theatrics... the passion... it will all be there" enthuses
Ribeiro.
Supporting MOONSPELL on the appropriately labeled 'NOCTURNAL MOURNING'
tour are KATATONIA and DAYLIGHT DIES. Ribeiro raves, "I love Katatonia
and I think they are the most brilliant band around. Dance of December
Souls is still my album for the rainy days. Daylight Dies caught my
attention with an advance single and since then I purchased No Reply
and Dismantling Devotion to get really deeply into this band that, with
a life of their own, brings me back to the glorious days of Death Doom,
a style so close to my heart and soul. I believe it is a great, great
package with original, individual bands that do it for the passion and
for the music. The moonfest for all undergrounders!!! The Euro fans
are very jealous!"
The 'NOCTURNAL MOURNING" tour is scheduled to kick off October
20th at The Loft in Poughkeepsie, New York. Dates and venues are subject
to change.

- EPIC RECORDS TO RELEASE AUDIOSLAVE'S REVELATIONS
GRAMMY NOMINATED ROCK BAND RE-TEAMS WITH
ACCLAIMED PRODUCER BRENDAN O'BRIEN FOR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW RECORD
ALBUM IN STORES SEPTEMBER 5
Epic Records has announced a September 5th release date for REVELATIONS,
the highly anticipated new album from multi-platinum rock band AUDIOSLAVE.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone.com, guitarist Tom Morello
described the record as "Led Zeppelin meets Earth, Wind and Fire,"
adding that it's a "big hard rock record with a funky bottom."
Among the album's many highlights is the groove-driven lead single,
"Original Fire," and "Wide Awake," about the aftermath
of Hurricane Katrina. "It's probably Audioslave's most political
song to date," says Morello.
The Grammy-nominated quartet (vocalist Chris Cornell, bassist Tim Commerford
and drummer Brad Wilk) recorded REVELATIONS at Henson Studios in Los
Angeleswith acclaimed producer Brendan O'Brien. O'Brien, whose myriad
credits include Pearl Jam and Bruce Spingsteen, mixed Audioslave's Out
of Exile record and the Live in Cuba CD and DVD. His history with the
band goes back even farther, as he produced Rage Against The Machine
albums Evil Empire (1996), The Battle of Los Angeles (1999) and Renegades
(2000) and mixed Soundgarden's Superunknown (1994).
REVELATIONS follows 2005's Out of Exile, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's
Top 200 and featured the Grammy nominated single "Doesn't Remind
Me."
The full track listing for REVELATIONS is as follows:
"Revelations"
"One And The Same"
"Sound of a Gun"
"Until We Fall"
"Original Fire"
"Broken City"
"Somedays"
"Shape of Things To Come"
"Jewel of the Summertime"
"Wide Awake"
"Nothing Left To Say But Goodbye"
"Moth"

- MELANCHOLIC ART Live video of concert with Krisiun is available
- In May 28th, Melancholic Art played in a concert with the death metal
legend Krisiun, promoting the re-release of the album Força Black
Metal Pampeano, which was released and sold-out in the last year and
is being released again, now with a new cover artwork.
According to Anwar Amon (vocals): "This show was very important,
besides of the re-release of our cd, after the first 1.000 sold-out
copies, it was one of the most polemic concerts and with the best response,
which shows why we are here, to break every moralism. Watch out, because
more massacres will come! Ave Lucifer Rex!"
More than 1.500 fans went to the show, and now the band put for download
a live recording containing the songs "Força Black Metal
Pampeano", which carries the name of the album, and "Bestial
Carnage Flesh".
