August 2, 2005, Cleveland, OH - Cleveland-based art-metal octet Mushroomhead
will premiere their self-lensed video for "Kill Tomorrow"
on August 5 at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time via their website, www.mushroomhead.com.
The clip will be available during a brief 30-minute to one-hour window,
and henceforth on DVD.
The super-creative, visually driven band self-produced, shot, directed
and edited the entire clip, which appears on their landmark DVD release,
"Volume 1" (slated for August 9 release on the band's The
Filthy Hands Company label). "Kill Tomorrow" marks the first
time Mushroomhead shot its own video - an event that, considering the
band's ultra hands-on approach on everything from their music to their
stage design to their business, was imminent. The track is from their
most recent full length release, "XIII" (Universal).
Drummer Skinny says the band learned the craft of music video direction
from director/photographer Dean Karr (Godsmack, Coal Chamber, Cypress
Hill), who shot their video for "Solitaire/Unraveling" (from
2000's XX album). "He rocks!" Skinny enthuses. "It was
a great learning experience." He furthers that the clip's "dark,
dirty, abandoned" feel reflects Mushroomhead's collective personality
and "looks great back-to-back with the other videos."
Mushroomhead financed the DVD project entirely themselves, says Skinny.
They reinvested their album advances in “some badass stuff”
including cameras, editing equipment, computers and books on cinematography,
which they knew would come in handy someday. “We knew that the
label well might run dry one day and that we would want to do our own
thing again,” he says, “so we built a fantastic production
studio, one piece at a time.”
As with any other Mushroomhead project, the band pooled their artistic
talents—several members, including Skinny, are trained visual
artists—to create a singular aesthetic that spotlights the visual
aspect of the band. Yet, in copious behind-the-scenes footage, the band
allows its fans see them without their trademark masks and makeup. Skinny
says the intent is to bond with the fans, let them see the people behind
Mushroomhead’s intense stage presence. “We’re not
that hardcore about concealing our identities,” he says, adding
that the point of the music with masks, makeup and costumes has been
to offer a multi-sensory experience. He believes Mushroomhead fans will
enjoy the intimacy of seeing the real guys behind the masks “just
screwing around.” Running time on the film is 70 minutes.
Mushroomhead just launched a headline tour featuring their new vocalist
Waylon, replacing J-Mann, who left the band late last year. Also featuring

- BEAUTIFUL CREATURES to Release Deuce on August 23, 2005

Beautiful Creatures puts a fresh spin on hard rock and heavy metal.
This kind of honest rock 'n' roll never goes away and never will; it
just takes on new shapes and forms.
The universe loves pure rock 'n' roll bands and will open its arms to
welcome the long-awaited Beautiful Creatures album Deuce on August 23,
2005. This is the band's first release for Spitfire Records, an imprint
of Eagle Rock Entertainment.
Deuce is a full-blooded hard rock/heavy metal album full of in-your-face
attitude and punchy, blast-furnace songs. The first single from Deuce
will be "Anyone.” The album also includes "Thanks,"
"Freedom," "Unforgiven," "Save Me," "Empty,"
"Never," "Super Fly," "Straight To Hell,"
"The Unknown," "Ton Of Lead," "Brand New Day"
and "I Won't Be The One."
Deuce, which was produced and mixed by Focx, is Beautiful Creatures'
second album. It's been four years since its self-titled debut was released.
The record company shakeups and band member changes that happened shortly
after that would destroy lesser bands. Not Beautiful Creatures.
Beautiful Creatures’ vocalist Joe LeSte, rhythm guitarist Anthony
Focx, lead guitarist Mark Simpson, bass guitarist Kenny Kweens and drummer
Timmy Russell are excited about the return of the band.
“It took a long time to complete Deuce because we didn't want
to have any throwaway songs on it,” LeSte says. “It's a
very well-rounded album and we're very happy with it. We’re all
focused and have a very positive attitude.”
“We're all about perseverance,” he continues. “You
have to remember that when our first album came out, there was no Darkness
or Velvet Revolver, and we endured being a ‘rock band.’
Yet we played with Kiss, then we played on Ozzfest and got a great reception
and then toured for another year.”
The rabid, overwhelmingly positive reaction Beautiful Creatures received
from its early fans even exceeded what the veteran members had experienced
in their previous bands. LeSte was the lead vocalist with Bang Tango
and Simpson (a new addition to the band along with Russell) was the
lead guitarist with Flotsam & Jetsam, but Beautiful Creatures sounds
nothing like them.
Big plans are afoot for a major tour to promote Deuce. Beautiful Creatures
will be performing some radio shows including August 27th Motorycycle
Mayhem in Fresno with LIT.

- GENGHIS TRON WIPE OUT IN NEW MEXICO, TOUR CANCELLED
Genghis Tron wipe out in New Mexico, ending their US tour in support
of their debut CDEP, "Cloak Of Love". The band wrecked after
hitting a bunny at 70mph.
"We're all back home safely now, taking time to relax and spend
time with our families and ladyfriends," says guitarist Hamilton.
"The crash was pretty terrifying, and we're still shocked to be
alive and unharmed, five days after the fact. After hitting a jackrabbit
in the New Mexico desert going 70 MPH, we lost control and rolled off
the highway, landing upside down. Our vehicle and the trailer - which
was ripped off our rig and flung a good 20 or 30 feet into the desert
- were both completely totalled. A good amount of our stuff inside the
trailer was messed up, but luckily a decent chunk of equipment seems
to have survived the crash safely - if terribly banged up. We're having
the surviving stuff shipped back home in August, upon when we will touch
it tenderly and take it in for repairs. We'll probably put a lot of
our t-shirts on sale online as a fund-raiser then, too. It's gonna take
a long time before we can get all of this settled with insurance and
save up/borrow the money to replace everything else which was lost,
but we're not going to let such a situation deter us from making music
and playing shows. It's just going to take a while. We hope to be road-ready
by the end of the year so that we can tour in December and/or January.
We'll eventually hit all of the spots where we had to cancel shows;
it'll just take a while. Don't forget about us out there!"

as well as working on hard on material for our upcoming album. Thanks

HOLLYWOOD (August 2, 2005) – BOD will be on tour supporting their
new album RUNAWAY BRIDES releasing September 27th on Shrapnel Records.
Their first single White Trash is soon to hit the airwaves. "White
Trash" is exactly what it sounds like. “The pot calls the
kettle black ..money can’t buy class ...but in LA it’s all
for free all you need is a casting couch, a bloody scalpel and a sugar
daddy,” recites LeGrande. It pays homage to all the trailer-park-style
culture and the people that try to leave them. From there the Brides
will discharge a slew of slamming songs on the audience like “Criminal”,
“Deadman’s Ruin” and “Lords of the Mind.”
“This is the record we always wanted to make,” states Tracii
Guns. “It has a great blend of modern rock heaviness with retro

ADEMA will be coming off their own headlining tour to join the Brides
on a tour of debauchery in support of their latest album release PLANETS.

"Planetary Confinement", the third album of ANTIMATTER is
available now. While their first two albums seduced the listeners with
a blending of relaxed guitars and darkly melancholic electronic elements,
their new work "Planetary Confinement" has turned out as an
acoustic, fragile, and very personal album. "Theres no concept
as a whole, but the songs are strung together by a common thread which
is mainly that something is bugging us and we need to write about it
in order to make sense of it all", says Mick Moss. "'Epitaph'
for example deals with bereavement, and 'A Portrait Of The Young Man
As An Artist' is a reflection of how the Liverpool music scene has become
so obsessed with plagiarism, cocaine, arrogance and shameless name-dropping.

The original is a song by the Doom-Metal legend Trouble.
Asked why they chose to cut a nearly purely acoustic album, ANTIMATTER
responded:"Of course the Unplugged tour was an influence. We wanted

Duncan Patterson leaves ANTIMATTER but this is not the end of the band
because Mick Moss - who wrote 50 % of the songs on the actual album
"Planetary Confinement" - will continue with ANTIMATTER. Duncans

- BULLISTIC signs to Backstreet Records; New album due this month
Backstreet Records Goes Bullistic
Mechanicsville, VA - July 2005 - Backstreet Records announces it has
signed Bullistic of Richmond, VA, to the label. Bullistic will release
its new Backstreet album in August 2005 and promote it with a national
tour.
While the actual signing took place in February of this year, Backstreet
executives chose to hold the announcement until the band was able to
complete the recording process.
Bullistic already has a great fan base and plays a very busy schedule.
We felt it best to not apply any more pressure the announcement of their
signing during the creative process,” says Backstreet Records
President Linwood Toombs. “Already a number of radio stations
are champing at the bit to get their hands on this release.”
Bullistic's Backstreet debut was recorded with Jeff Covert’s team
of engineers at the Grammy-nominated Wally Cleaver’s Recording
Studio in Fredericksburg, VA. The recording was mastered by Roger Lian,
a mastering engineer for Masterdisk Corp. in New York, NY.
Since 1998, Lian has mastered numerous records for artists including
Faith Hill, Powerman 5000, Mariah Carey, Slayer, Pantera, Staind, U2
and LL Cool J. He was also responsible for mastering all eight of Backstreet
Records’ global releases from 1994 to 2002. These Backstreet albums
were from Trixter, Meliah Rage, Skate the Razor, John Flywheel, Grady
Cain, Axis Y, Graffix 420 and Uncle Jack.

- THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER guitarist arrested for indecent exposure!
On July 23rd at Ozzfest in Pittsburgh, PA The Black Dahlia Murder guitarist
Brian Eschbach was arrested for indecent exposure while filming footage
for FUSE TV's Uranium. Brian was given Uranium host Juliya's camcorder
and was walking around the second stage area interviewing random bands
and fans when someone pulled his towel off, which happened to be the
only thing he was wearing. The police immediately seized Brian and escorted
him away to a holding cell on site where he was detained for about 30
minutes before being let go with a citation. Luckily FUSE's Uranium
was onsite and caught everything on camera which will be aired not only
on Uranium and Metal Asylum but also on a FUSE special on Ozzfest. MTV

- CHIMAIRA VIDEO STOLEN
Fans are so rabid for new Chimaira material that one of them stole the
video to "Nothing Remains," the first single off the self-titled
album that will be in stores August 9th, and put it up all over the
web. The video was stolen from the directors website after the fan illegally,
hacked in. Still in it's inital editing phase, the video had yet to
be seen by the band or executives at Roadrunner Records. Commented singer
Mark Hunter, "it's exciting to see that our fans are itching to
get a hold of our new material, and to see that they actually enjoyed
the video. However, the video was in its infant stage and while we are
extremely proud of where it stands now, we know that it will be much
better when it is finished. I can't wait for our fans to see the finished
version and as soon as it's done I'll put it up on the web myself."

MEMBERS
Relapse Records recording artists BURNT BY THE SUN have announced the
addition of vocalist Nate Johnson, second guitar player Nick Hale and
drummer Brandon Thomas.
The new members join the heralded New Jersey band following the departure
of former BURNT BY THE SUN vocalist Mike Oleander and drummer David
Witte last year. Both Nate Johnson and Nick Hale come to BBTS as ex-members
of PREMONITIONS OF WAR, while celebrated drummer Brandon Thomas unites
with the band after time spent in DIM-MAK and infamous New Jersey death
/ trash titans RIPPING CORPSE, where he played on the band's now-classic
release, Dreaming With the Dead. Johnson, Hale and Thomas join the existing

- MORTIIS RETURNS TO AMERICA FOR
THE 2005 BLACKEST OF THE BLACK TOUR
Norwegian industrial rock band, Mortiis, has been selected to perform
on the 2005 Blackest of the Black Tour.
The Blackest of the Black lineup features Danzig (joined by former Misfit
Doyle Von Frankenstein for a special 30-minute set of Misfits classics),
Chimaira, Behemoth, Himsa and The Agony Scene.
"I think it's a very interesting package and should draw a rather
diverse crowd," said Mortiis' frontman and namesake. "I'm
a big fan of pretty much everything Danzig ever put out, and always
loved his classic horror approach to image and art. I can totally relate
to that, given our own image isn't that far removed from what he did
early on in The Misfits."
Mortiis' one and only tour of America was in 1999 with Christian Death.
"If anyone saw us then and comes to see us now, they're in for
a bit of a shock," said Mortiis. "A lot has changed and everything
that we used to be has been killed off to make way for a new monster."
Each of Mortiis' releases show a marked growth from its predecessor,
with last year's The Grudge delving into an angrier, more guitar-driven
sound. Mortiis is also now officially a collective effort from a full
band.
Mortiis' first DVD, entitled Soul in a Hole, will be released November
1. The DVD was filmed last year in London during the two-month The Unlimited
Grudge Tour tour with Susperia. The DVD will contain four bonus videos,
photo galleries, interviews, and other extras, in addition to live footage.

- MADBALL TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED
Fresh off of Sounds Of The Underground Tour Madball have announced a
headlining tour of the US. The NY hardcore heroes will hit the national
circuit with support from Walls Of Jericho, Misery Signals and Full
Blown Chaos. This tour will be the band's first following the release
of their new full-length and first for Ferret Records entitled Legacy
this August. Produced by Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) the album is
the largest sounding Madball record while retaining all the signature
grittiness of their live shows. True to it's name, Legacy is the perfect
stone monument to hang Madball's name on. A video for the song, HeavenHell
directed by Dale Resteghini (Dillinger Escape Plan, Killswitch Engage)
will premiere on Headbangers Ball when the band takes over as guests
on the episode airing on Aug 13th. The episode promises to be an informative
one as host Jamey Jasta is a long time fan and Madball were one of the
first bands to take Hatebreed on tour early on.

Though Madball have helped define both metal-core and NY Hardcore in
their fifteen plus years of existence, age-wise Cricien, Hoya (bass)
Mitts (guitar) and Riggs (drums) are all under 30 years old! The group
formed as a side project of Agnostic Front with Cricien on vocals at
twelve years old! Eventually Madball (a nick name of young Cricien)
became a full time endeavor with new members including mainstay Hoya
on bass and released classic albums on Roadrunner Records such as Set
It Off and Demonstrating My Style while in their teens. The band's last
full-length Hold It Down was on Epitaph Records and marked the band's
most mature release combining their previous fury with a more tempered
attack. After a whirlwind career, the members took an extended break
which resulted in various side projects. Earlier this year while entertaining
label offers, Madball played a show with Nora, whom includes Ferret

- THE RED CHORD loose guitarist Kevin Rampelburg!
The cat is out of the bag:
Kevin Rampelberg (aka Big Kev) is no longer with The Red Chord. Kevin
and I (Guy) have been playing together in bands for the past 10 years
and in The Red Chord for the last 6 or so. Kevin played his last show
with the band at the Palladium in Worcester last week (July 26th). The
split was abrupt, but amicable. For the time being, we are performing
as a 4 piece with Gunface (aka Mike McKenzie) handling all the guitar
duties.
On the special occasion side of things, Psyopus guitarist, Chris Arp,
is currently out with The Red Chord learning our songs in order to start
filling in over the next few days. For those of you confused, Psyopus
is supposed to be out with Ion Dissonance and Swarm of the Lotus right
now. Unfortunately, according to preliminary reports from the band,
they were waiting to leave for the first show of the tour and they received
a wild and confusing call from drummer Lee Fisher explaining he would
not be able to do the tour.Psyopus contemplated having a drum machine
fill in to keep from bailing, but parties involved disagreed with the
practicality of the idea.
Psyopus has made other drummer arrangements and will be back on their
feet in no time. Look for Psyopus and The Red Chord to be playing together
at Day 3 of this year's Hellfest and look for the Arp/Red Chord collaboration
to begin in the next few days for the duration of The Red Chord tour
with Between the Buried and Me and Acacia Strain. Metal

Israel’s ORPHANED LAND is gearing up for their 2005 ProgPower
USA VI appearance where they will be performing an all-acoustic set
Thursday, September 15 at ProgPower USA’s pre-party and a metal
set for their Friday ProgPower USA VI performance. Sold out for a consecutive
four years in a row (this year in 3 days) ProgPower USA has quickly
become North America’s most praised festival. In the past the
festival has attracted prestigious European metal acts for their initial
U.S. performances such as Nightwish, Blind Guardian, and this year Stratovarius.
ORPHANED LAND vocalist Kobi Farhi sends this message out to the band’s

shows in 21 countries (with Paradise Lost, some mini tours, and festival

- SAPROGENIC enters the studio to begin working on their new full length.
It is being recorded at Cloud City (Black Dahlia Murder) so you can
expect a massive sounding heavy as hell production. Pat Thompson is
doing the artwork so expect a completely pro package on Saprogenic's
debut full length for Forever Underground. They are signed to a 3 album
deal and one of the albums will be a split CD with Mutilated. An Mp3
will be posted as soon as the recording is complete. I believe they
are going in the studio for a week and a half so mid August expect new
Sparogenic to be completed.
- BEYOND FATAL has scheduled their final studio session and should be
finishing up the recording in the next 2 weeks. Tony koehl is handling
the artwork and layout. The Cd cover is already finished and is sick
as hell. Should make a killer shirt design! More news on Beyond Fatal
as it is available. As soon as they wrap up in the studio an MP3 will
be posted.
- MUTILATED continues to write new material and practice with their
new drummer to get ready for their next full length which is going to
crush every other release to come out. If you have seen them perform
their new shit at their live shows then you know what I am talking about.
Mutilated is also preparing to hit the road for a couple weeks beginning
in early September. Show dates will be posted very soon. If they are

to reform Motley Crue, the undaunted co-founder, Tracii Guns, lead vocalist
London LeGrande and drummer Scot Coogan recruited former Amen bassist
Scott Sorry. Armed with a batch of strong new songs and a unified band
spirit, this new incarnation has not lost its step. The group soon entered
into a new record deal with Shrapnel Records founder Mike Varney. Varney
signed Brides of Destruction to his label Shrapnel/Ryko at the end of
2004 and they soon found themselves in the studio with veteran producer
Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and Free). The result
of this incredible union “Runaway Brides” is a staggering
collection of street lethal rock and roll, imbued with both the classic
rock & roll spirit and the edge of modern youth.
In the tradition of Brides of Destruction, the music continues to be
stripped down and raw with dark, melodic lyrics. The music is utterly
electrifying in the realms of Black Sabbath, The Sex Pistols and early
KISS.

The Black Dahlia Murder's sophomore effort Miasma has entered the top
200 Billboard charts for their first week of sales at 119 selling just
under 10,000 copies. They also landed the number 1 position in the Billboard
Heat Seekers chart, which celebrates new artists' releases. In addition
The Black Dahlia Murder secured the number 5 position on the Billboard
Independent chart and the number 14 position on the Billboard Top Hard

- SOILENT GREEN COMPLETE WORK ON NEW MUSIC VIDEO
Relapse Records recording artists SOILENT GREEN have completed work
on the first music video from their brand new album, Confrontation.
The video, for the Confrontation roll-out track "Leaves of Three"
was shot on location in Atlanta, Georgia by Director Chad Rullman (NILE,
MASTODON, THE AGONY SCENE) for Supercollider Films and features SOILENT
GREEN (vocalist Ben Falgoust (also of GOATWHORE), guitarists Brian Patton
(also of EYEHATEGOD) and Tony White, bassist Scott Crochet and drummer
Tommy Buckley (also of CROWBAR) performing in a stripped down, super-intense
setting a la the PANTERA videos "I'm Broken" and "Five
Minutes Alone." The video is expected to make its world premiere
imminently.
SOILENT GREEN's Confrontation album hit stores this past Tuesday, July
19th and will see a European release date of July 25th. The band is
currently in the midst of a US headlining tour with support from A Perfect
Murder, Into the Moat and Watch Them Die.

Glenn Danzig, at the forefront of the hardcore/dark metal movement for
more than 25 years, announces that the 2005 Blackest of the Black tour
will kick off in San Diego at the end of September and end on the west
coast on Halloween. For the sophomore year of this Fall traveling festival,
Danzig has assembled a lineup of the crEme de la crEme of the hardcore/dark/black
metal bands - Chimaira, Behemoth, Himsa, Mortiis (ex-Emperor) and The
Agony Scene. Danzig will headline.
Danzig's performance on all dates of the Blackest of the Black tour
will feature former Misfits' guitarist Doyle Von Frankenstein for a
special 30-minute set of Misfits classics. Doyle joined Danzig on a
handful of tour dates last winter (New York, Philadelphia, Boston) for
"the closest thing to a Misfits reunion you're going to see."
"The Blackest of the Black tour is for extreme bands that sell
out venues across the country, that sell records, but don't get radio
play or get on MTV," said Danzig. "It's anti the corporate
crap nu-rap-metal that gets shoved down fans' throats at other concerts."
The Blackest of the Black festival was organized by Danzig and debuted
in the Summer of 2003 with Danzig, Superjoint Ritual, Opeth, Nile, Lacuna
Coil and Behemoth on the bill. "I'd like to see this being an on-going
event," Danzig added.
In addition to organizing and headlining the "Blackest of the Black"
tour, Glenn Danzig will see the release of the DVD Il Demonio Nera (evilive)
on July 12. Il Demonio Nera is a collection of videos, video outtakes,
alternative versions and previously unreleased music videos from the
band's Danzig 4 and Danzig 5 CDs. His new CD, Black Aria II, the follow
up to 1993's Black Aria, has been completed and will be released later
this year and Glenn is in the process of shooting his first feature
film, Gerouge, which he has written and will direct. Gerouge is based
on one of the comic book titles distributed by his Verotik publishing
company, and concerns Turn of the Century New Orleans Voodoo.
Glenn Danzig has received many titles, from the Godfather of dark metal,
to a punk pioneer, to a man of integrity, but most agree that over his
25-year career, his intense musical and lyrical statements have left
a permanent mark on rock music. He is a gifted songwriter, and his songs
have been covered by such diverse artists as Johnny Cash, Metallica,
Guns N' Roses, Roy Orbison and Evan Dando, just to name a few. Danzig's

- PANZERCHRIST WORK WITH SESSION DRUMMER
Danish extreme metallers PANZERCHRIST will be utilizing a session drummer
for the recordings of their new album, Batallion Beast. The lyrics to
the follow-up to 2003's Room Service (Mighty Music) will be in German,
according to a posting on the band's web site.
PANZERCHRIST, who recently announced the addition of keyboardist Dea
Lillelund (also in FAIRYTALE ABUSE) to the group's ranks, will release

- PETER STEELE IN A VAMPIRE MOVIE
TYPE O NEGATIVE frontman Peter Steele will be joining the cast of the
new vampire movie, Tao of M, this August. Steele will be taking on the
role of Viktor Baine, the vampire who sires Midael, another vampire
who terrorizes New Orleans, played by Steve Blaze (LILLIAN AXE, NEAR
LIFE EXPERIENCE). Eric Morris also stars, and members of TWISTED SISTER
are slated to portray a group of "false priests" who get on
Midael's bad side, according to Fangoria. James L. Bills is directing
the hi-def production, produced by Milena Rimassa-Merrill and featuring
makeup FX by Matt Green, director of Vicious.
Tao of M is reportedly being shot by Velvet Life Productions (the production
company formed by Blaze, Morris and Bills) in a joint venture with Isis
Films. Shooting for Tao of M, which is based on the half-hour indie
film Slayer Zed and the City of the Dead, began in early July, and the
moviemakers are aiming for a world premiere this Halloween.
Rimassa-Merrill, President/CEO of Isis Films, took the pre-production
trailer for the film, as well as some promotional material, to the the
Cannes Film Festival 2005, where it was reportedly well received. [Source:

- DIM MAK SIGN TO WILLOWTIP
Newly reformed New Jersey band DIM MAK, featuring former members of
the legendary RIPPING CORPSE and drummer extraordinaire John Longstreth
(ex-ORIGIN, THE RED CHORD, ANGELCORPSE, SKINLESS), have inked a deal
with Willowtip Records. The band will enter Sound Spa studios in September
to record their Willowtip debut, tentatively due in early 2006. Guitarist
Shaune Kelley (ex-RIPPING CORPSE) comments on the new material: "Expect
precision annhilation from the shadow claw. Jeet Kune deathcore."
DIM MAK had previously released material on Dies Irae Productions and
Olympic/Century Media.

by Elfin Stone Records. This album has not been commercially available
since 1988 and recently several original copies have sold for more than
$150 on eBay. The album features strong vocals by George Criston and
fabulous guitar work by Larry Gillstrom. The band's signature harmonies
and driving rhythm section make this album a powerhouse of melodic rock
tunes. "Rock The World" includes a grinding metal version
of the Fleetwood Mac song "Chain" and a never before released
bonus track "Piece of the Rock".
This album was digitally remastered by Raymond Harvey and is being released
with new artwork.

‘TALES FROM THE STRIP’ ON SHRAPNEL RECORDS
HOLLYWOOD (July 15, 2005) – In January 2005 L.A. Guns headed to
the studio with producer Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones)
and began work on “Tales from the Strip.”
“Tales From The Strip” is a reference to the band’s
long time affiliation with L.A.’s legendary rock scene, whose
hub is the renowned Sunset Strip. The album’s lyrical focus is
inspired by a historically significant rock scene that L. A. GUNS had
a strong hand in creating. With producer Andy Johns at the helm, L.A.
GUNS delivers a new studio record of original songs that proves, without
a doubt, that L.A. GUNS is still on top of their game.
The 2005 summer release is planned to hit the stores August 16th. The
band will be on tour throughout the summer of 2005 with W.A.S.P to support
the new CD.
