1. How did the band get started? How did you
meet and how long have you been together?
J.P. Anderson: Hmmm...I put a add in the local free paper
and Brian gave me a call. I can still remember how he described
himself: "I'm a total metal head and a computer geek." SCORE!
Brian Shrader: I'm a total metalhead and a computer geek
2. How would you describe your music?
J.P. Anderson: Imagine Atari Teenage Riot, Slipknot and Deftones
having two bastard children and giving them a keybaord, guitar and
a couple of mics.
Brian Shrader: Then piss on them and try convincing them
to not get pissed off.
3. What are your biggest influences?
J.P. Anderson: For me it's ATR and Alec Empire, Fear Factory,
Junkie XL, Deftones, Chomsky, Nader, Parenti, Che, and everything
around me.
Brian Shrader: Fear Factory, everything Max Cavalera, Meshuggah,
Steven King, J.P.
4. Are any band members in side projects? If so what are they,
and explain a little about them.
J.P. Anderson: Nope.
5. How would you feel if a band took their sound from yours and
became very well known?
J.P. Anderson: Hmmm...can someone say SNIPER!!! Wham biatch!
LOL.
Brian Shrader: Lock & load
6. What current bands do you like or respect?
J.P. Anderson: I like ATR and the Digital hardcore crew,
Deftones kinda. I respect the muscianship of Radiohead, Portishead,
Orbital to name a few.
Brian Shrader: I like a lot of stuff, but I know too many
musicians to respect them.
7. How many demos/albums do you have? Tell me about them!!
J.P. Anderson: Brian?
Brian Shrader: Officially just Evil Inside and Script Kiddie.
There are other CD's floating around but they're just CDRs we burned.
Evil Inside was the first demo, then we got some new songs and polished
the old ones and made Script Kiddie.
8. What demo/album do you like the best?
J.P. Anderson: Script Kiddie is the better one.
9. What is the meaning behind the songs?
J.P. Anderson: Which song? They all have many differnet meanings.
10. What are the bands favorite songs?
J.P. Anderson: Audio Jihad II is my fave right now. It will
be on the CD.
Brian Shrader: Herdcore and 32-bit Whore are the most fun
to play, PCK rocks, and all the new stuff for the next album rocks
;)
11. If you could play with any band who would it be and why?
J.P. Anderson: ATR would be cool. Huh, maybe Marylin Manson
cuz my woman would freak. Ha ha ha.
Brian Shrader: We should open for Kittie, that would kick
ass. They're fans are hardcore.
12. Who writes the majority of the music?
J.P. Anderson: Some dude called Roland ;)
13. Where did you get the band name from?
J.P. Anderson: I came into the rehersal space and said, and
I quote " I think this band is the shit so are name is gonna be
The Shizit".
14. Describe what the band is like live?
Brian Shrader: Pure audio pain
