This is the debut album for Somnus. It is
called "Awakening The Crown." The band is a doomy atmospheric
death/black metal band. Very much in the vain of a Dimmu Borgir with
a little bit of an Amorphis touch. They are very similar to a Grey
Skies Fallen with more aggression. Somnus was formed in 1995 and was
formed in Cleveland, Ohio. They have played some really big shows.
Including Milwaukee Metal Fest, March Metal Meltdown, and the Cleveland
World Series of Metal. There are 10 songs on this CD. Somnus seems
pretty dynamic band, it will be interesting to where they go from
