The Saw
III Soundtrack consists of twenty tracks from twenty of your favorite
metal and hardcore bands. Consisting of some well known bands as Slayer,
Static X, Disturbed, Ministry, and Drowning Pool, but also includes other
heavy greats like All That Remains, Lamb of God, Helmet, Mastodon, Meshuggah
and there still is a hell of a lot more! There is a great deal of abrasive
music on this disc, perfect for a horror movie. Good job with the band selection!
Most of the tracks are pretty decent. As in the majority of soundtracks
there are a few weak tracks too. The stronger tracks include Lamb of Godís
ìWalk With Me In Hell,î Helmetís ìMonochrome,î Bullet For My Valentineís
ìSuffocating Under Words Of Sorrow (What Can I Do),î and ìFear Is Big Businessî
by Ministry. I love the Lamb of God track ìWalk With Me In Hell,î there
are a number of pummeling riffs in that track! A feature on this record
is an appearance by the Shawnee Smith from the movie. She is featured in
the Hydrovibe track as backup vocalist. Overall, there are a couple tracks
I didnít care for, but there was much more that I liked. If you are into
movie soundtracks you should check this out.
