Hailing from the Netherlands, the band Roadkill
has released a three song mini album called "Pyramid." Their
sound is like a heavier version of Iron Maiden crossed with a little
Iced Earth and a good amount of eighties. Combining all that together
helped in creating their own epic sound with a limitless potential.
These three songs last for about ten and a half minutes, and will
get you right into the album. Track three, "Rapin' Justice,"
is one of the best songs I have heard in a while. You can keep listening
to it over and over again, and not get bored of the song. "Pyramid,"
which is also the title track on this disk is another well written
song. There might be big things ahead for these guys if they can continue
to write songs as well as they have on this CD. I can't wait to hear
more music from this band, I know I won't be disappointed, and from
what I understand their live performances are entertaining as well. Rating: 93 |
