"Violence" is the third release
by the hardcore/metal band Nothingface.
The album is filled with heavy riffs and melodic undertones to help
you get off your seat. Its almost as if the band has a split personality.
The band will play something heavy with ferocious vocals, then they
will switch to melodies with clean vocals. A good example of this
is their first single off this album called "Bleeder." I'm
traditionally not a fan of songs that get radio play, but I can't
get this song out of my head. Another good songs is "Blue Skin,"
it has some really catchy, heavy riffs, a good one to get a pit going.
"Same Solution," "Can't Wait For Violence," "American
Love," and "Piss & Vinegar" are decent songs and
they give the listener something else to listen to on this album of
twelve songs. Nothingface has also toured with some pretty well known
bands as well, including Slipknot, Slayer, Sepultura, Sevendust and
opening up for Pantera. What is next for Nothingface? We will just
have to wait and find out.
