The amassed "audio" horror presented
on this disc, is particularily troubling to the ear. To the normal
ear that is... to the metal ear, Necrophagia
is every bit of black/ambient/thrash/heavy metal (if you can allow
that to be hastened)! With all these elements being muscled together
at once, you can expect something very unique. "Sadako's Curse"
is a hybrid-occult black metal attack then followed by a more "pagan"
feel in "To Sleep with the Dead". Of course, the audio horror
tracks on this disc would include "The Fog", "Goblins
be Thine", and the 11-minute ambient-metal-horror "Young
Burial". It's difficult to describe a band such as this with
such an oddly, horrific sound. I suppose then, that descriptions can
be left to the various listeners out there. I could see this used
to keep trick-or-treaters away around 8 o'clock Halloween night when
kids are making their second rounds... or if you just flat-out hate
giving out candy. Anyways- fans of bands like Blut Aus Nord, Mayhem
