Slovakia is the home of the death metal band
Lunatic Gods.
The music has a unique flow from sound to sound, including elements
of doom and black. There are eleven tracks and forty-four minutes
of extreme metal on this disk. Their music has a similar sound to
God Dethroned, including ferocious vocals, some nasty riffs and some
nice harmonies. On their doomier side they sound a little like Moonspell.
A few songs grabbed my attention including “Fallen Beauty,”
my favorite track “Doomsday” and “Dance of Salome”
an instrumental. Overall it’s a solid album even-though their
music changes a few times to a raw sound, like a demo, as if it was
recorded in one take. Rating: 72 |
