Levitation
is a straight ahead metal band, right to the point. Including a former
member from Corrosion Of Conformity they continue the tradition of
the style of old Metallica. Their sound is a collage between Metallica,
Testament, and Corrosion Of Conformity. If these guy had a CD produced
with the equipment of Metallica, I'm sure the sound quality would
be better. The music is great, just the production could be better.
All three songs on this EP, "Burning Lake," have good riffs.
Some that are very catchy. Also this CD is just over 14 minutes long.
This is not a bad band by any means, Just if the production was better,
there would be a different feel. I can't wait to hear their next CD,
hopefully just more produced. Rating: 72 |
