Kaizen
is back with more music to rip your head off. Stylistically they are
a mix of death metal. and hardcore with a touch of electronica. They
are influenced by Meshuggah, Pantera, Sepultura, Napalm Death and
Strapping Young Lad. I think they might be influenced by Fear Factory
as well, at least it sounds like it. This creates a sound that is
intense, brutal, and powerful like a death metal band. The disk is
called "Supporting Continual Improvement" and the five tracks
last a shade over twenty minutes. All of the songs have their moments,
but my favorite is track three "Out Are The Wolves." "Spearhead
Of Lies," "Colorblind," and the re-recorded version
of "Leadersheep" are also strong tracks as well. I'm surprised
that no label has even talked about picking these guys up. I think
they have potential, and with a good producer could become a well
known band.
