Well Gun Barrel seems pretty enthusiastic
about their music, the way they play everything, up tempo rock ?n'
roll. But my impression of their music is that of a band that is a
little cheesy. I listened to this CD, with all its up tempo beats
hoping to get caught on a song or two, but I really didn't have much
interest in this release. Their music is similar to AC/DC which might
be one reason why I think it's a little cheesy. Not that AC/DC is
a bad band, but they had their time and their place. The same goes
with Gun Barrel's CD "Power-Drive," not that its old music,
just the style has passed, and it changes to become a Rock ?N' Roll
disaster. The twelve "Rock To You Drop," tracks last for
around forty-eight minutes. Maybe some of you metal fans out there
can find something redeemable from this album, but for myself, it
just wasn't my cup of tea. Rating: 50 |
