The band Fony
formed in late 1999. Over the few years of the bands existence,
they have tried to build themselves a good size fan base. Their
sound is a cross between emo and hardcore, and influences of hard
rock and metal are felt throughout as well. Fony has supported bands
such as Sanctum, Kilkus, and Lost Prophets, and want to do more
touring. I believe they were even asked to play the New Titians
Tour last year. Musically the band is pretty tight, and at sometimes
pretty aggressive. Vocals sometimes are clean and at others they
are the screams that are somewhat similar to hardcore. I prefer
the screaming vocals, hands down. Maybe over a few more years of
playing together they might be able to grab attention of a record
