The one thing that seems to be Digital
Fiction's best aspect of their band is that it is different then
anything you can think of, not just in metal, any music really. This
five song CD entitled "Sci-Fi Soundtrax" is pretty damn
weird. I really don't know what to think of it. There are a few elements
that represent metal, but everything else in their songs make their
music sound crazy, and that's not in a good way. The music that Digital
Fiction has made is supposed to be futuristic in sound. It does sound
futuristic, but if this is what the future of metal is going to sound
like, I feel sorry for the future metal generations. To put it simple,
if you like music from the cheaply made Sci-Fi movies, like the movies
that were made fun of on Mystery Science Theater 3000, then you might
like it. Otherwise, you might want to focus on some music that has
a chance to pick up some listeners. Rating: 39 |
