Demons & Wizards is a group that Jon
Schaffer of Iced Earth and Hansi Kursch of Blind Guardian started
together. If you know Iced Earth and Blind Guardian's music you should
be able to figure out what Demons & Wizards sound like. The guitars
are the usual speed riffing style of Schaffer and the vocals are the
typical style that Kursch uses. When you put these together you get
a masterpiece, it crosses the bands together perfectly. Its hard to
select a few songs that are my favorites because of the talent that
these guys possess. But, I would have to say that "Heaven Denies"
is my favorite track on this CD with "Blood On My Hands,"
"Tear Down the Wall," and "Gallows Pole" right
behind. The 12 tracks on this CD keep you amazed for over 52 minutes.
If you have not heard Demons & Wizards yet, do not wait, you will
wonder what you waited for. No one knows if this is their only CD
that they are going to do together, so if you get a chance to see
them, once again, do not wait! Rating: 92 |
