The Unholy, black metal quartet, Dark
Funeral is back with more blasphemy on their latest CD "Diabolis
Interium." The band continues to play with unmatched fury,
spine tingling blast beats and the sand blasting guitar riffs. This
is another relentless album by these Scandinavian monarchs. The
brutality is eight tracks and thirty-six minutes long, and is sure
to get your blood boiling. Among my preferred tracks "An Apprentice
of Satan" is my favorite and "The Arrival of Satan's Empire,"
"Hail Murder," and "Armageddon Finally Comes"
are pretty good as well. Dark Funeral has been around for nearly
ten years, and there are no sings of letting up. "Diabolis
Interium" was recorded and mix at the Abyss Studios and was
produced by metal mastermind Peter Tagtgren. For those of you with
a PC, there are two music videos and they include "An Apprentice
of Satan" and The Secret of the Black Arts." The band
has covered everything with this CD and it is well worth it.
