Most of the tracks are rock oriented, and I think the reason why this was sent to a metal zine is because it has a several hard rock/metal moments, and probably too much of them for anyone else to listen to...I know some people classify this as metal, but when I think of metal, I don't think of this. There are some decent leads, and ok solos. A few hard rockin' riffs I dug too. They just seem to have a raw garage band or local bar band feel. An awkward recording didn’t help either. It sounds too unpolished. Concept Project needs to tighten up for recordings; sloppy or awkward notes are heard all over this disc, like a demo. They also need to write not so generic riffs...I think they used every single cheesy overused riff in this style possible. I was shaking my head through most of this CD, "Why did they do that?" Track 5, “Spanish smoke” has its decent moments, but it sound more like easy listening, jazz or jam band style more so than metal or hard rock. Track 6 “Stop the funk” is too funky for metal... These two tracks started me wonder if I should have really received this for review. They aren’t too metal oriented... The only track I really dug was the "bonus track" or the track after the outro...it’s a cover of the famous Mozart classical tune, “Turkish March.” They call it the “Rock March, but it shows that these guys can play, I just wish it would happen on their own tunes. It has a metal feel like Tran-Siberian Orchestra. I hate to rip apart music, and I try to find the good in everything, but this one I just had to explain my disappointment. For me this was a real yawner. 10 tracks for who cares how long... I'm sure there are some people out there that would like this; I'm not one of them. True metalheads beware!!!!
