Do you want to hear something that hits like
a sledgehammer, has blistering riffs, and tons of blast beats to feast
upon? The brutal death/grind of Balatonizer
is what you want!! Various bands come to mind while the music pummels
your head, including Cannibal Corpse, Immolation, Dying Fetus and
maybe a little Mortician because of the drums. Surprisingly, the programmed
drums aren’t to bad, and I’m not a fan of electronic drums
in death metal oriented music. Everything combined creates a brutal
and appealing disc. There is a music video for one of my favorite
tracks on the CD as well, “Muscular Prevarication” as
and extra. It’s a little weird, but it’s pretty good.
Most songs are good as well, but as in most grind-oriented music,
I wish the tracks were a little longer. A total of thirty-two tracks
for only twenty-five minutes will leave you hungering for more. “Occlused
In Ottusity” is quite good and should grab your attention like
the cold, hard steal of a riffle in your face. Rating: 79 |
