Art
of Destruction are a 3-man assault from Virginia whom lash out
4 disgustingly brutal tracks with their demo, "Under Attack".
Previously releasing a full-length entitled, "Retaliate",
Art of Destruction continue where they left off. OK- these guys are
somewhere between Napalm Death and Gorguts, if you want me to be blunt!
This is a good lung-full of cancerous, intoxicatingly utter dark decay
like that of death metals' forefathers. Not quite in the league of
their predecessors (at least, not yet), AoD definitely have that grinding,
deathcore sound only a few before them have managed to wield. Such
bands are Napalm Death, Origin (of the more recent), Gorguts, Carnage,
and Repulsion. "Under Attack" is a good accumulation of
what breathes on this demo. My favorite song on the demo is "End
of the Suffering", which to me is a grand introduction to this
newfound bastard son. AoD without a doubt have attacked their instruments
enough to prove a point in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
Soon though, these guys may have something more to say to a much broader
