Archaean
Harmony is from Malta. I find it interesting to find a band with
so much talent from a small nation like Malta. Take the progressiveness
of Dream Theater, the atmosphere of Cynic, and the aggression of Emperor
and you have a taste of what Archaean Harmony is all about. They seem
similar to the band Scholomance. Very talented, and they write their
music in layers. When you listen to their music you get a feeling
that there is nothing missing. Their solos and side riffs are just
amazing. The best way to describe them is a chaotic at times, progressive
black metal band. Sometime the chaos they create can be a little to
much, and their music would sound much more rich if they had a drummer,
besides that its excellent. There are three or four songs on this
CD, one song is split into two tracks, that last for nearly thirty
minutes. I do not have a favorite song on this CD, all of the songs
have their great parts, its hard to pick. I have realized the more
I listen to this CD the more I enjoy it. There is so much to their
music that you find out more about it every time you listen. You people
that like progressive music or black metal, check this out, it will
be worth your time. Rating: 80 |
